Best place is vog at the moment. The reason you aren't getting them on breaking down the armour is because it will be the new armour sets that don't require shards, the old armour will still give you them.

you no longer need shards.

You can buy legendary armor from the vendors or get it from engrams that is 36 light (the same as old raid gear) that will get you to rank 32, and these don't need shards to upgrade any more.

You just need glimmer and resources like relic iron etc..

Further more, once you get etheric light from trials of osiris, iron banner, prison of elders or a nightfall, you can use this to turn your 36 light gear into 42 light gear that will get you to rank 34.

Went 8-2 with g0rd and rps earlier, annoyingly lost 1st game but went on a roll after, even had a game g0rd dropped and we won 2 rounds to win game with 2 men!

Didn't get to Mercury but got all the packages.

Myself and a friend will be online then on XB1 if anyone needs two bullet sponge distractions. I've only basic Legendary weapons as I've not done any raids yet and PVP disinterests me, but want to try VoG or CE at some point

Ah thanks, makes sense now then. Not played it for about 5 months. I left my guy at level 31 so im not too far behind.

Purchased the house of wolves for £12 something. See Microsoft aint interested in sorting the american market thing out

So I've just got to level 30 on my first character and haven't done either of the raids because I'm Billy no mates.

Quite keen to do VoG tonight on PS4 if anyone is up for it?

Had a decent run on Trials earlier with Buff Man and Wigles. We got to 8-0 (with all the buffs) but sadly couldn't quite get the last win

I was already out of the running by that point anyway as I only bought one of the buffs so was sitting on 7-1.

It's interesting seeing the different strategies. One team decided to go full sniper at the very edge of the map, up on top of a platform. We won the first round by capturing the control point as they couldn't get down and to the centre of the map in time. Very strange strategy!

Back on it in about half an hour. Going to warm up with my Titan for a few matches and then switch over to my Hunter.
