No worries, was good fun! We terrorised people for a bit then had a bit of a bad patch, got matched up with some fireteams that put on a good fight. Nice to get a bit of clash in for a change.

Iron banner next week is it? Or week after?

OweO, Greboth, Monday trials team again?
 
Just read the update - all the Trials maps are up on random selection this weekend! Also, Iron Banner next week.
 
Mmm should be interesting! Having not played ToO each week, I may be at some disadvantage by not having some of the strats nailed down so will be relying more on my wits!

Yup Monday night like last time? I can be on from half 6 again.

I wouldn't mind that. Would be running on either Bluey (Titan) or Moody (hunter) as Pigtails is saved for the Monday night run.

Last night was a good bit of fun. I was messing around with weapons quite a but and have found a new appreciation for the fast firing low impact pulse rifles. Bad Juju held its own as normal and Hawkmoon was just beastly. First time I have ever run Invective in anything other than PVE, turns out it is alright.

Had some good matches and some bad but overall it went well. Some of the bad was down to me simply missing shots whilst others were down to lag (Nova Bomb not killing someone until after he had nova bombed me and then ran away?!).

Wouldn't mind trying to run some trials with you guys this weekend :D
 
There were a few laggy games last night, but not too bad. I'd like to have the option of matchmaking using the trials rules, even if it means waiting a bit longer for a game.

Honestly given the prevalence of high speed broadband across europe now, there's no excuse for people to be on crap connections, unless they are doing dumb stuff like torrenting or have botnet zombies on their network. I played a whole IB on my phone tethered and it was fine.

Yeah I am up for some more ToO. Assuming I get off work on time then I should be about 6:30 - 7 ish. It would be nice to get to the lighthouse but I would be happy with our record from last week.

Yeah it was enjoyable, red death takes some getting used to after using HC's for so long. Using a sniper for the bounty was annoying as it proved how much I suck with them, though that may be due to having a higher sensitivity for primaries and shotguns. It was also hilarious but dirty getting both heavies on anomoly and just standing there rocketing everyone who walked through the door. If I had thought about it last night I would have saved the clip.
 
Cool, I'll be on around 6:30, will be running a few bounties to level up lord of wolves.

I'll be happy with 8 wins...as long as we get that flawless sometime before TTK launches. I suspect it'll just be a case of getting a lucky draw on the matchmaking one week. we're not far off it anyway.

I do wonder who these people are that just get destroyed over, and over, and over again week in, week out....must be a lot of people that are just fodder for the people that go flawless.

Cool, I'll give you a ping once I'm ready and my mate is online, should be good fun. We normally do a few runs so we could try for 2 lighthouses tonight. Be interesting with map changes lol.

They had this in CoD, you could base searches on ping, I would just set it to 50ms(the lowest value) and I hardly ever got anyone laggy. It also makes is super easy to find out how lag switches, my ping to someone can't suddenly go from under 50ms to over 1000ms.

Also when I play solo I almost always get kicked from match making at the end and I need to find a new game, if they just let you stay in afterwards it would help too, I can find great match making teams, even skill and no lag, next match a horrible game where everyone is red.
