Yep I'm in. Had a purple patch this morning and managed a K/D of 20 :cool: Feeling ready!
 
Faeces have hit the fan this morning so don't know what time I will managed to leave tonight :( I might be able to get off on time but no way can I guarantee it so hopefully you can get someone else.
 
Ah Monday morning airborne faeces, great way to start the week! No worries....

Anyone want to join me and OweO for trials later? I'm sure we can rustle up a few and get enough for everyone to get a couple of passages in.

I still have to complete a passage on my hunter and Warlock. I can run to about 11ish so can be on for a while.

I'm not sure if Tehmoe (Fallen God) carried on last night when I had to leave so he might be on.

We seemed to get the hold back and snipe tactic down quite well. I feel like my sniping abilities are improving as well. Started using my LDR again last night, got quite a few kills with it. Eye of Sol is still doing me proud although its inability to revive snipe is a tad frustrating.

I prefer to use destinylfg.net personally....but really I'd rather avoid it wherever possible.....a last resort if we can't get some people together here. Playing with randoms sucks.
 
if you play ToO near a laptop, you may find this website useful

Type in the gamertag / PSN of one of your opponents, and it will bring up the entire teams loadout for you in one screen, including what perks their weapons have, and what build they are using in terms of grenades etc..

It uses previous match reports to guess their teammates and do the same for them too, all on the same page.

Very neat.

I wish I'd been so lucky.

We were 4-4 in the 9th game with 8-0 on the card having already used our mercy early on.

Myself & martin got a double firebolt grenade in leaving us 3-2 up. But the remaining two pushed us back hard and we retreated, letting them get the revive off.

We lost with the game ending up 3-1 and into overtime.

So So Close. Nothing more depressing than coming that close and losing at the last hurdle.
 
Damn that is unlucky. :(

We were 4-4 on our final game but luckily we managed to pull out the win (I think I got the final kill with a cheeky shoulder charge). It all got quite hectic down by where "C" normally spawns on The Burning Shrine. Luckily we did still have our Mercy if we had of lost.

If Greboths not back in time, wouldn’t mind having a run at ToO. Been foolish enough to try it on the Friday previously, and not managed to get past 7 wins, so will be interesting to see what its like on a Monday, although I won’t be on till about 7.00pm.

Sure just jump on, we can switch about as and when people come online. We'll see how we get on.

None of the armour is better than what I've got this week, so I'm mainly playing for fun and the weapon + 8 win package. Flawless always a bonus :)

I honestly didn't notice much difference between the matches played on Friday to those played last night (We came up against a similar blend of skill throughout the weekend). The one thing I did notice though was our connections started to take a nose dive past 11 or so. I can only assume we were getting matched up with more American teams causing pings to increase. Lag was noticeably worse (although thankfully not game breaker like we saw in IB).

I managed to pick up the armour and weapon on my hunter already. I want the boots for Pigtails but don't need another Summoner.

I should be on at 6:30 but I will need 5 minutes to get everything onto the right character. I need to purge weapons again as my vault is full and my backup (character) space is getting thin on the ground.

Flawless would be cool but I am playing it more for the fun & practice factor. I try to play most encounters and medium to long range as I seemingly suck with a shotgun (or at least suck trying to counter a blink + shotgun combo).
 
I did a bit of blink-shotgunning today, it's pretty effective, but of limited use in trials as obviously you have to go throw yourself into the fray and potentially die in a really awkward spot.

Works good when we all do it like against that sniper team last week though :)
 
Yeah it is pretty nice when it come together. Hard to counter when you have a team of three hunters who know what they are doing and rush your spawn on round one (no super counter).
