*** Destiny Raid & PvP discussion thread ***

been debating trying destiny again, hit level 20 and did all the missions at launch and didnt feel like playing more but lately been thinking about it. i imagine at this point i should just wait for the taken king package to come out though?

I think you might have an easier time levelling up if you start now. Try to get to lv30 or so if you can to save yourself some time later on.
 
If you buy the Taken King Legendary edition, you'll get "a spark of light" that allows you to boost from level zero to 25 in an instant.
 
Hi everyone. So I've been playing Destiny for a while now but have never gotten round to starting a Raid. My primary weapons suck!
Any groups fancy shepherding me, a mature thirty-something year old Glaswegian, through VoG? I have level 33 titan and hunter... :) I'm available to do PoE also. XBL Gamertag is hairyhen. Cheers!
 
Unfortunately you missed out last night as we did VoG/CE on HM! Maybe look out for Gimp in the next few days and sign up for next week's raid :) It's usually Tuesdays at 8pm.

I still want my Vex Mythoclast so I'll definitely be there.

went flawless twice yesterday well actually 3 times but didn't have stupid mercy once.

there is some bug where you cannot buy it sometimes. you need to discard your scorecard and then buy another. so lame i thought i had it but i didn't.

looking to go for that third flawless today.

i think ToO has gotten easier since the last time i played. seems to be a lot more weak players around. got another bulletproof medal yesterday for instance. we also smashed some team so badly after 3 rounds one of them left and the other 2 just danced in spawn for the next 2 rounds.
 
Just less good players, I've been flawless maybe 30 times now and it just meh I have all the weapons now, 60light, all the exile gear. Its still more fun then normal crucible, but it has lost a good amount of the tension, you can imagine how boring it is for a top player.
 
New raid won't be available on the 15th according to Planet Destiny. I'm happy with that as it gives everyone a chance to try out all the new content without having to worry levelling up as quickly as possible to get into the raid.

Good, would be annoying to just have to power-rinse through all the content to get ready for the first raid teams. Be nice to soak it up properly.

yea i have to agree, When HoW came out i rushed through the storys on all three guardians just to get in to the prison, felt like i wasted it

i've still not done those eris quests to unlock the nightfall on 2 characters.

i need to either join someone else who has or start as a hunter.

is this getting removed? or do i need to do those quests?
