*** Destiny Raid & PvP discussion thread ***

Well now I am truly gutted. Another VoG completed and I got absolutely nothing in ANY chests nor reward for completing it. Can the postmaster get too full of lost items? I've not got space unless I start dismantling loads of legendary gear.

EDIT: I know why I didn't get a final reward. I fell off the ledge when Atheon was killed and so I was dead when it happened. But I still didn't get anything from the Templar or even the first chest. :(

Thanks, I only had 7.

Is there a limit on how much loot you can get in a week, I wonder? I just tried the VoG again using the single-player entry glitch and still nothing from that first chest. It's most bizarre.

By 'blind' I mean not watching or reading guides or walkthroughs etc. before attempting the raid so we have to work it out. Obviously date and time is TBA until we know how long it will take to be the right level/light to have a proper go at it. I think a few of my usual fireteam will be available that Friday but not all of them, so I may well have a few people I can bring in with me as well. I reckon on Friday we'll have enough for at least 2-3 full fireteams to go in blind to the raid.

I think I have updated for everyone who said they are up for it. We are over 2 fireteams but a couple more and we could have 3 full teams :)

There is space on our raid tonight if you can make it. 3 exotics isn't that bad if they are the right exotics, I think I have all the exotics on my warlock yet only really use 2 or 3 of them.

I think we need someone significantly more skilled and patient than I to help out fireteam with the 35. Bloody Arc Burn on Psions!

That was the bit that took us the longest. We ended up using 3 Titans in the end so we could bubble the mines, though that didn't help much with the Psion wave attacks going straight through the bubble. Took us probably 10 attempts to get through, then we did the rest of the PoE first time. It's definitely the hardest stage IMO.

The psions always come out of the same doors. Clear them out as soon as they appear = no problems.

Yellows come out of the furthest door to the right. Have a guy with a shotgun (found verdict) dispatch them as they come out.

Red bars come out of the first door on the left. Fatebringer will demolish them no problems.

Then deal with the rest of the rounds :)

That's pretty much how we did it in the end, we learned the same things and were taking them out as they arrived. It made things much easier :)

I did see u guys doing the skolas as I was about to send u an invite. Did wonder how you got on tho.

35 is a huge pain to do, earlier this week I tried with 3 randoms, me a hunter, one a titan and the other a warlock and we couldn't finish it due to the Psion attacks plus me being the weakest link with the squidgy hunter lol.

Still want to try and do it tho, if anything for the experience of it.

I'll be free from tomo night so should be able to join u guys more regularly.
