Would anyone be around at the end of the week that needs to kill Atheon / Groundskeeper for the No Time to Explain Exotic pulse?

Managed to grab an hours game time last night with the Mrs whilst waiting for Halo 5 to install. Now up to the part above and need help :).

Hey, count me in. I've cleared HM a couple of times now. Think my alt is about 310 now and happy with a run to daughters....desperately need gloves/boots for my main.

EDIT: hunter is 306 now, will be fine up to oryx

Decent HM run last night....gutted we didn't take Oryx down first time, thought we were going to nail it! Got him down though. Was a bit disappointed in drops but in retrospect...

Got 315 hand cannon which infused my Smite of Merain w firefly to 315
314 fusion got my 1000 yard stare to 314
Got a new 319 chest with bonus armor on defender subclass which will be great for oryx
 
What the hell is the daily/weekly strike thing with the big floaty robot at the end?
You need to keep picking up balls and moving them to other recepticles, whilst higind behind pillars and avoiding random spawns of further robots.

My god, me and my mate tried it last night, 3rd person dropped instantly and wasn't replaced. We fought our way to the end, saw which boss it was gave it a couple of bashes and gave up haha.

We did manage to get the boss to about 50% hp but the sheer amount of mobs and limited ammo it just wasnt happenign with 2 people :(

It's pretty straightforward...make sure you distract the boss away from the guy with the relic. Save your super to clear the minotaur/sniper mobs. Hit boss with sniper/heavy when it moves.

Knocked out my weekly heroics earlier.....god damn they need to rebalance the SABER strike with fallen at the start. It's fine with a good team but randoms....dropped in two guys quit. I get to warsat, two guys are making their way over. Go through a cycle of 6-7 people quitting and being replaced before being left on my own and giving up.

It was a good raid, a few mistakes on Oryx, but for that last run it all gelled together :D

Got used to the disappointing drops from HM now :p I got 311 HM class item, 310 HM class item and 317 HM fusion. At least my 1000y.s is now upgraded to 317, the hunt for decent boots and the helmet go on.
 
Still not had a helmet, from NM or HM...oh well. At least my weapons are 315/314/315 now. 307 helm and 303 boots are holding my titan back now.

Was frustrating as hell getting Oryx finished. We have our strat nailed, just couldn't quite string it all together without a mistake...so glad it came together though, I was about to call it a night.
 
The helms seem to be exceptionally rare drops. After 12 completions of NM/HM I've had one helmet drop (302) and I'm one of the very few (possibly only one) to get one across all the groups I've played with.

I got one last night [304] on normal and .....shards!, praise RNGesus :)

I think the two minute break did us well, the strat is fine, just a few mistakes and a bit of bad luck.

similar story, in 15 NM/HM completions I've had have one NM helm drop, and only had 2-3 other people say they had it as a drop as well. Its a shame as I like the HM shader, but its the one piece I'm missing, well along with any primary HM gun :p but with my luck they would drop as 310.

I'll be around Saturday night as well so if you want to knock the raid out on sat night, I'm more than happy to help out otherwise Sunday evening is fine with me.
