If you want to hit lv31 as fast as possible you're better off buying gear from the vendors and ranking that up fully as it only requires ascendant shards. Its over 60 radiant shards to get 3 pieces of raid gear fully ranked up and that will take many runs.

After looking through your gear, I would just focus on levelling up your chest piece, you're actually pretty close to lv31 I didn't realise how close you were. You probably only need 5 light, all of which you can get from levelling the chest piece

IMO your better off running the CE raid.

All you need to do is level gear up to the last 3 slots to hit 31 which requires zero radiant shards.

Levelling vendor gear requires fully levelling the gear to hit 31, you only need to half level raid gear to hit 31.

He can already get lv31 by levelling his non raid armour up a bit more. Getting experience is a lot easier than relying on RNG to drop a chest armour piece which he would only have to level up to get to 32 light.

It took me 6 weeks to get my first raid piece from VoG, it's a LOT easier to get raid gear now, but waiting on raid drops is generally a bad idea.

How did you view my gear? :confused:

I'm 2 light away from 31, hopefully my next upgrade node my chest piece (2 nodes to go, 4 lights left to gain on it)

I got 2x Raid armour pieces in my first Crota run

Would be nice to take him down. Anti should hopefully be level 31 by then so good to go. Could really do with a SB as I have only taken Crota down on NM before. Not sure if the Mrs is available but she may be around to help out.

Anti-Chav just ran 1 quick ROC tonight. Light level 31. Also, I bagged 2 more Legendary Engrams

Both came out as items, a set of boots for a Hunter and a flappy oversized hankerchief thing for a Titan that looks like he wears it in his back pocket. Both in the vault for later use. Now I have a damn good starting set of gear for my Hunter (Purple helm, Blue gloves, Alpha Lupi chest, Purple boots) Just need to get her to level 20

And I also need a name for her... And my Warlock Robot needs a name

I still need to do CE HM so I'm in. I'm only Level 31 but just a few Radiant Shards short of Level 32 (hopefully I can get these tonight)

Have got almost every Exotic and Raid weapon, including Gjallarhorn so can still do some reasonable damage.

Real good fun tonight chaps. Shame we couldn't take Crota but Atheon fell nicely. I am MUCH more comfortable on the sword now.

Let's get the ball rolling on some post reset "easy mode" raiding

PS4 Tues 7:30 onwards - 3 x CE NM (or 1 x NM & 2 x Crota only CP)

Yeah nearly had crota a couple of times but in the end he won. Got myself a second vex, timepiece and some bits and bobs. Thanks guys.

Be good to take the pressure off with some normal tomorrow.
