Detailing Stages

there are other makes that do that sort of thing than greenworks

my Worx , i wanted because of the weight, leaving in car etc and my bad back etc
cost me with all accessories in charger, lance, bucket thing, soap dispenser etc etc, ebay around £100

i didnt want to pay more than that

What I’m mainly interested in is the 70 bar rating, I don’t know of any other cordless ones which are as powerful as that. I might not go through with it yet due to the battery shipping issue.

If you can find another cordless pressure washer as powerful then please let me know.

Found this...

https://comparisonbattle.com/greenworks-40v-vs-80v/

“Greenworks 40v”

“This battery comes with a charging time which is different from the Greenworks 80v battery. The 2.0 Ah batteries come with up to 72 watt-hours and a charging time of fewer than 60 minutes. The 2.5 Ah batteries come with up to 90 watt-hours and a charging time of fewer than 90 minutes. The Greenworks 3.0 Ah batteries come with up to 120 watt-hours and a charging time of fewer than 90 minutes. The 4.0 Ah batteries come with up to 144 watt-hours and a charging time of fewer than 120 minutes. The Greenworks 5.0 Ah batteries come with up to 180 watt-hours and charging time fewer than 120 minutes. The 6.0 Ah batteries come with up to 216 watt-hours and a charging time of fewer than 150 minutes.”

So the most powerful battery I can get shipped would be the 2.5 Ah 90 watt hours, now to find one at a decent price which is not as easy as it sounds.

Why do you even need to snow foam if you only have a battery pressure washer.

I dare say you’ll be better off just using a decent citrus pre wash, applied using a pump sprayer then rinsed and shampooed.

Snow foam is over rated but it does make you look good in the eyes of your neighbours.

Well I've ordered a Greenworks Cordless High-Pressure Cleaner GDC40, the Greenworks Battery Charger G40C and the genuine Greenworks 40V 4.0Ah Battery from Greenworks themselves. Comes to £ 270.31 which includes the £ 25 dangerous goods notice (DGN) because the battery is over 100Wh. I also used a £ 25 Amazon gift voucher.

I had £ 500 saved for a graphics card but the prices are still way higher than I want to pay so am using that money to pay for this.

@Mekrel Can you tell me more about this adapter I need to fit the MJJC foam cannon onto the GDC40, does it fit on the cannon itself or the pressure washer?

because if you use a hand sprayer, you have to pump the sprayer and keep re pumping, id rather have a battery powered one
Yeah but it’s only for the pre wash so it really shouldn’t require much effort. I wouldn’t use it to wash the whole car anymore than I’d use a battery pressure washer to snow foam.

It fits onto the Cannon, there's a back plastic finger nut on the foam cannon that you undo, then this one screws on. You then push the other end into the lance and twist to lock. To remove you push the fitting further into the lance (this disengages the lock) and twist back out.

Ok I’ve PayPal you, thanks for making the effort to post it to me very grateful, thanks again.

Not really detailing but.. I've done the whole clay polish etc. thing with previous cars, don't really want to bother with this one, I am getting good results washing every month or so doing:

Valet Pro PH neutral snow foam
AG Pure Shampoo hand wash
Sonax BSD 50:50 with water as a drying aid

After the BSD the car looks great and water just runs off, is there anything I can add in there to get more shiny shiny?
