**DGM 27" LED IPS 2560x1440 ONLY £319.99 Inc. VAT (PRE-ORDER PRICE ONLY)!!**

have you enabled the DCR function or something? when i tested it the backlight wasnt turned off even on a 100% black image though so not sure what is causing that.

Seriously tempted to get 3 of these (or maybe treat myself to a Dell for the center screen, and have these as the sides...)

How are they, compared to the Dell? I currently only have 3xTN screens, so will be a massive quality increase either way...

Maybe see my setup :p ?

they are great screens, as is the dell, and well worth the money IMO.

Are the DGM monitor boxes not supposed to be sealed?

Mine wasn't - but that is typical of some hardware sold and nothing to be worried about.

The monitor was perfectly new and unused when I was unwrapping it,

What would the quality of the B-grade DGM's be like? On a budget here.

Have a read through this thread and note whey some people have returned theirs and that should give you an idea of what to expect.

You might get lucky and at the very worse you could DSR it if it is not working appropriately for you, although this would be at your expense unless the monitor is faulty. I see that the b grades are still getting the three years warranty (from the advert) so that has to be a good thing.

that do's look nice with the clear stand
Whereas the clear stand reminds me of those nasty platform shoes you only see in mucky movies. Or so I'm told. Wouldn't know anything about that kind of thing myself. I only have pure thoughts.

Except when thinking about buying one of these screens. Just because it has almost twice as many pixels as my 1600x1200 Dell doesn't mean I have to buy it. And it would only encourage me to collect even more icon clutter on my desktop.

Sending it back...

I'm returning this P.O.S as it refuses to work with my Mac, even through a DP->Dual-Link DVI adaptor.

Mac Users BEWARE, this seems completely incompatible with Macbooks.

Has anyone had a problem with the monitor switching DCR on and off rapidly, looks like there may be a short on the down button on the monitor as when i being up the Onscreen menu it randomly moves down the menu items? This would seem consistent with the down key being press but it's not. The button isn't stuck in as it clicks when i press the down button.
