It can get a bit wearing running Nightmare ( or Ancestral ) dungeons constantly, but I break it up by doing helltide events, grinding reknown points and doing mini events for Tree of Whispers caches. Only thing I've not dabbled with is PvP but I've scouted out the zone fully.

I'm also finding having a plan for how I want to fill out my paragon boards is keeping me motivated for running nightmare dungeons. Getting those glyphs to lvl 15+ so they have an influence radius of 3 can really boost your character's power.

I finally had some decent drops including a rather good unique after many attempts so it was purely bad rng.

I'm still not big on the dungeons though. Sick of picking up 2 objects and carrying them back to open a door. Definitely need to break them up with other activities or I'd have given up by now.

I started with a Druid and have reached the first city but I think I might try Sorcerer using something like your build or this one:

 
Is there away to play dungons with randoms or is it either solo\Friends list?

Tried the cathedral today but could not kill the final boss, can get him down to his last quarter heath but end up dying
 
I just found out that there are mystery chests in the Helltide zones that can drop higher numbers of legendaries/unique. Just stumbled across it and wondered why I hadn't seen the icon until I was close to it. Dropped 5 legendaries!

Reading up it seems there are 2 in each helltide (I think) but they can change location. Worth looking out for.

I do see people doing shoutouts in the trade channel from time to time but not often, I guess most people are grouped up with friends. Best bet is to group up with folks from here or in the ocuk clan, bound to be someone in there/here who can help
 
I was hyped up about getting an ROG Ally and to play this when Im on the plane on long flights....
Turns out you need a net connection even for offline play :|
 
Right after struggling for a day or two just getting into my stride.

Still need to fine tune my build and paragon points.

Started completing nightmare dungeons which seem to be giving decent loot.
 
Reading through this thread and I’ve caved and ordered for the PS5. seen as it’s crossplay I’m guessing I’ll be able to join the clan? If so how do I do that please?

search ocuk in the clan menu and apply. if your name is different to forums, quote me with your ingame name.

anyone else who has applied and is waiting for an invite, mention me or snaggle in here or on discord. there are 25 applications pending and the names don't look familiar.

Cleared the backlog, theres room now.

It shows the date of application, and the clan is now private to searches. So anyone applying with a date of today onward we know is ocuk.

Got to the point where Tier 3 is a bit of a cakewalk now, just single hit anything with death blow apart from elites and barely take damage.

Got some seriously nice drops early on which really help. I reckon I’ve racked up about 60 hours play time since early release :o

There is no such thing as offline play or single player

It's a multiplayer game

But the multiplayer features are really poorly done and Diablo Immortal which was built by NetEase did a much better job than Blizzard. It feels like Diablo 4 was given multiplayer just to have an excuse to sell skins in the cash shop

Diablo Immortal had frequent spawning world bosses, world raid bosses, dungeon group finder and 10 man raid group finder. Diablo 4 has some world bosses but they are poorly implemented and can be solo'd and it has nothing else, no raids, no group dungeons, no group finder


I might go back to playing Diablo immortal after I finish the story for diablo 4, at least it has a working multiplayer

Made it into WT4 at level 59 with the summoner necro, I managed to get some of the notables on my paragon board which pretty much increased my minion damage by ~60% and that was enough to get me through the dungeon so long as I kept distance. The boss one shot me a couple of times but I manged to get him down after a frantic moment where he had less than 5% life remaining and my minions just decided they would rather attack the trash mobs spawning in instead.

I dropped some unique gloves earlier that really transformed the build, they turn your corpse explosion into a volatile skeleton that charges at enemies an then explodes with even more damage. It's super nice to use as you can pull corpses from the edge of the screen, they run ahead of you to mobs when you're moving through an area, then when you just sit there spamming they run all over to nearby enemies, covering the whole screen in DOT puddles.
