I mean if D3 was tied to DLC and seasons, I expect D4 to be tied to MX and a battle/season pass. I always ran out of room on D3, never really felt as bad on GD to me.
They already confirmed MX will be for cosmetics only, but we shall see. It is Blizzard after all.
It goes on sale often but it's not at the moment on Steam, might be better to get it elsewhere from a key site etc.
The DLC is worth it but give the base game a good seeing to first.
I tend to play games for the story. I just can't stay interested enough in constantly doing the same thing over and over just for the chance of getting a slightly better item. Pretty much the same as when I've played WoW, I enjoy the storyline but after I've got to basically the end of the story (excluding raids which I just don't have time for) I only play enough so that, if I want to do a dungeon, I'm equipped enough to not get murdered every time. After that it just gets tedious and I stop playing, or level a different character.

@Infidelus Most of these aRPG's are end game focused to be fair. That's where the real content lies, but horses for courses.
