** Diablo 4 Thread **

Just tried a non-minion Necro and its entirely viable, so thats good. Was going to max each character at release, except the Necro due to hating pet classes, but now that I know the Necro is viable without having to use summons now I will do that one too :)

Ah that's cool to hear, when I saw they started with Summon Skeleton I just auto assumed that it's pet-only since it was a base skill

Yeah the cinematics are fantastic, although they always to be really high quality in Blizzard games. Would love to see a feature length movie by their cinematics teams. The 9-minute long announcement trailer was incredible.

This Necromancer is great fun! I can't believe I'm enjoying this class. Corpses exploding all over the place. :D

The necro is absolutely busted op, your minions do more damage with basic attack than barb or druid, and you can have up to 8 skeleton warriors and 5 skeleton mages and a golem.

I see necro and sorc being nerfed slightly, rogue will stay about the same, barb and druid will get some much needed love.

All classes will get significant damage number adjustments. As many abilities are just garbage.

I had one game crash and have still not seen the Butcher. Tried everything I'm interested in though, played all the characters etc. Their balance is awful currently but I don't expect that to be as big an issue on launch and even if it is, there's always a few builds that get to higher levels.

No real issues with framerate or how the game ran, quite happy really with that side of things. What little lag and rubber banding I had were clearly server issues considering when they occurred.

I want to play the full story but I'm not convinced currently to actually buy it with the prices for the time I think I'll put into it long term.

sorc and now necro are totally busted and need balanced tbh

Do you think anyone on launch will have anything close to this in 2 months at level 25?

For some people like me, its about the campaign and not the end-game grind. I don't care for power levelling, I want to enjoy the gameplay and thematics.

If the Druid is useless without power levelling and legendaries, I wont play it.

The Druid is extremely viable for campaign. It isn't as much for level 25 end game dungeon farming, without some proper building. That isn't apart of the stories campaign.

I suspect Chris Wilson from GGG, is probably sat back watching the D4 beta thinking, "we have nothing to worry about boys n girls".

You think Chris worries about every potential game coming out? Must be a stressful life.

Has anyone had issues with the game stuttering? Seems like they have removed fullscreen option and just leave you with windowed fullscreen or windowed.

Never had the stuttering last weekend and had the fullscreen option. Can see there was an update to remove fullsdreen due to the game crashing

Currently for a necro to level 16 and finished act 1. Sorc is 25 and also completed act 1 and enjoying it so far

Performance has been crap during beta, plenty of people talking about it. Lower settings to medium, it won't solve all issues but it helps with others.
