Did anyone else get Sky for F1?

How much is it, how many races are been screwed off terrestrial?

BBC have 10 race live in HD and the rest are delayed highlights in HD.
Sky Sports F1 channel has every race live in HD.

Sky Sports F1 channel is available in HD to all Sky HD pack customers (cheapest option is £30.25).
Sky Sports F1 is available in SD to all Sky Sports pack customers (£20 on top of any package, making the cheapest £40) and to any Virgin Media customers with the complete Sky Sports pack (£22.50 or £28 on top of a TV pack with the cheapest being M and SS at £28).

Can we please get this stickied or something?

I'm looking at my other D/D's and how I can save money to accomodate this.

For those who have ordered, have ordered have they given you a rough installation date? How long would I be looking at if I ordered now until it's installed and working.

Haha £30.25 p/m to watch F1.... **** right off!

If you hang the entire cost on just the F1 channel, sure...

When I ordered the earliest installation date they offered me was about 3 days later. I had to choose a later one as I wasn't about, but generally a few days after ordering is a good guess.

As you have been told about three hundred times already by various people: it is reasonable to hang the entire cost of your Sky subscription on the F1 channel when that's the only thing you want it for.

On the other foot, if you're quick - as in, order before 1st March - you can get £100 cashback from Quidco plus another £100 of M&S vouchers from Sky, and the box is free. That reduces your total cost for the first year to £163.

I was agreeing with you. If your gonna watch nothing else then its massively expensive.

I do find it hard to belive people won't watch anything else on sky, but if you won't, its a lot of money just to follow F1, I totally agree.

Since those adverts on Youtube look shiny and 5.1 sound would be quite sexy, I've just finally upgraded to Sky HD for a net cost of -£1 over the whole year. Result! :D

Well I have just caved in and placed my order for Entertainment Extra + HD pack. Being able to get things like the BTCC in HD lessened the blow a little.

I have no will power :(
