My friend got a £20 love 2 shop voucher and reminded me that 15 years ago when we were cleaners we got gifted £100 love 2 shop vouchers, lol. He asked if we had regressed.

I'm sure I read something recently that whilst the modern world is great we've regressed in the sense that we spend a lot more of our lives working.

My wife started work for a new contract / company this week. They sent her some very nice Belgian Chocs as an Xmas gift which arrived on Friday, delivered from Belgium no less.

I was impressed.

I'd keep an eye on her boss mate. Sounds a bit fishy him sending your missus chocs from Belgium. Be flowers from Amsterdam next

Got a 20% pay rise which I wasn't expecting (Starts in January). There will be a bonus which again, wasn't expecting, so I'm more than happy so say the least. I work in the tourism industry, so with no covid restrictions this year there has been a massive jump compared to last year.
