Yeah theres just been a big banwave. A million boxes if the stories are true. I suspect they were just waiting for MW2 as an incentive for banned peeps to buy another one.
 
Read in the paper (Metro) recently; one guy who was banned for using a chipped Xbox. He described being banned similar to been told his dog had died. Couldn't help but laugh.
 
Guys by the way, incase you don't know, they've now worked out online how to unban banned xbox 360's and they've also cracked dedicated servers for MW2 lol, it's all over the internet.

Yes, it will probably be a new game.

As for the fee, remember how the console players protested against the DLC at first? there were lots of unhappy people, then slowly they got used to it, now they defend it. The same can happen on PC... and the "boycott" is a good indicator of that.

Never underestimate sheep mentality. As I said before and saying again, 80% of the people involved in the 'boycot' didn't have a clue what it was about or ever intended to cancel that 6 month old pre-order. If it was a real threat to IW, I'm sure they would've done something.

thats the biggest problem

console owners get taken for mugs and either dont know or care
it ruins stuff for the people who actually have a clue

4-5 years ago who in their right mind would pay the prices they charge for map packs or other pitiful "DLC" content :rolleyes:

BTW, you won't believe how uninformed most of the gamers are, I play cod4 under the COD_MW2_SUCKS!! name and I have to constantly explain to players who get offended and defend the game, after I explain then they go "hmm".
