DirectX and OpenGL will start offering low-level access in order to reduce draw overhead

Yeah now all you have to do is wait a year or two and you might have a point ;)

Well i didn't post it here initially to boast or mock relative Nvidia performance. Just to show that it was not a disappointment for me and was working nicely. :)

Yeah I know, I know. It's nice that Crossfire is working. At least for you, seems there's still a few issues on Windows 7.

Crippling my CPU had no real affect to performance though with two cores, which wasn't expected.

Yeah i have to be honest i was not expecting that. However i think you were right about that Firestorm part. Its clearly not a very cpu heavy part. Did you try Gulf Of Oman looking across the whole map?

Lol glad i quoted it before he edited. :D

Working superb on my pc far from broken. :D

Even if the fps from DirectX vs Mantle was spot on 1to1 of each other Mantle is still by far the best to use.

It's low frame times say it all, Check my images from page 3 and you'll see.

It's smooth as don't just look at the fps on a screenshot as the be whole of how Mantle is performing.

:D
My 2cents

Maybe. :D

I love a good bicker with Greg, its all good. :)

We are king of the bickerers. In fact, if we was benched, we would be equally tied at the top of bickeraging... :D

At Chief Barker, What you are getting is a teaser. A bit like those test drives you get in proper posh cars but you know you can't afford it but you have a go anyway and for a split moment, you feel like a king but then the harsh reality sets in that you have to return it back to the showroom, just for some **** to come along and buy it and not even spare a thought for the working class folk and presses the pedal down in his Gucci shoes and gives a loud "Ha" as he roars off into the sunset.

One day Rodders, we will be millionaires :D
