DiRT 4

Hmmm got a T300GTE and im thinking of getting this. Is it absolutely essential to have a dedicated handbrake ? I mean i could use the buttons on the wheel but obviously its not the same and also difficult to hit one while swinging the wheel around.

you could just use the button.some people get a usb joystick use that.Fanatec do a very nice hand brake.there is also mods to make a hand brake.youtube has loads of em.

it just comes down to how you wanna play it.hand brake is pretty much essential in rallying.

And the buttons are digital only and not analogue, so pressing button is 100% handbrake.

It's well worth it and I paid about £200 for mine, so it's dropped in price quite a bit now. The next step would be VR and the G29 but only problem is that I can't justify the cost of VR at the moment. :)

Coming from a Pad to a good Steering Wheel really takes driving games to another level.

But playing them on a Big Screen TV is awesome, Dirt Rally 3 looks great on one.

I highly recommend using one, my Samsung TV is only 1080p but using Nvidia's DSR bumps it up to 3840x2160p.

Give it a go and get set up for Dirt Rally 4, if you have to extend your USB cable get a USB Active one as the signal degrades after 5mtr's.

Quiet a few vids showing up now on youtube, looks like some people have got the game early.

Wondering how my 1080 will handle 4k for this, Dirt rally is smooth as butter, so hopefully this will be OK.
 
yes a guy got a copy early and has been popping some videos out.hes on ps4 and im not sure which handling hes using . gamer or sim. cant wait to get on all assists off and go blasting it through wales and spain.:cool:
 
Thats where i got mine, couple of weeks back, Still haven't got the code yet though, typically you get them the day of release from CD keys but i have had to wait longer before, (Diablo 3 for example).

Hope it comes before release cause you cant add games keys from the mobile app, when PUBG came out i bought it on the app and it downloaded before i got home from work, I imagine this is going to be at least what 30gb? if not more so i wouldn't get it downloaded after work in time to play.

That said its half the price it is on steam and more than that on Xbox so I will take the pain.
 
yes i got mine on steam but i linked that cause its a good bit cheaper.you normally get your key from them a day early or on the day of release which will be the 8th or 9th of june.

usa retail get it on the sixth.
