DiRT Rally Hits Steam Early Access

you just click on it i think i dont know as i own all cars :D

the good thing about rx is the money you earn in a short period of time ;)

go win the championships its the quickest way to rack money up in dirt rally.

i think the load price is like 1500-2000.

Yeah I saw :)

Didn't realise you have to invite people to play online, can't just randomly search for people :(

Japan and Australia would be awesome, New Zealand wouldn't go amiss either. If they just stop at Sweden I'd be pretty disappointed.

Yeah, me too. Unfortunately, it looks like the game is almost complete and won't be further developed in 2016 (at least free of charge).

Personally, I can't see how it can be so close to going gold while still lacking in content. Without Japan, Australia and Spain it just doesn't feel complete as a game that's supposed to hark back to CMR of the past. More weather options and a better damage model wouldn't hurt either.

I'm already rather happy with the car list but obviously adding some more would be more than welcome:p I might be expecting too much but the game is quite expensive for what it is and I invested my money hoping they're going to expand it until it feels like a full title.

I can already see it: come 2016, they're going to port it to consoles and pump out paid DLC:p

Um and aring about getting this for a while now can anyone recommend this?

Its pretty stripped down and pretty hardcore. If you're a casual maybe look elsewhere (I get absolutely mullered. The only place where I'm even remotely competitive is Monte Carlo mainly because its tarmac and its similar enough to a how a real car feels to have any clue what I'm doing)

Cheers, I like racing games as I have a t500rs and play a lot of AC and project cars and f1 to I'm just not sure about rally games tho, last one I played was wrc on the ps2.

You could just grab it and if you don't like it, you can get a refund from steam within two weeks or two hours of gameplay.

Asking for opinions is all cool, but just because someone likes it, it doesn't mean you will :)

This is a great rally game but based on the glowing praise it got after release, I was expecting less of the old arcadey Dirt to be honest.

It's definitely more brutal than those games and the physics feel convincing most of the time. It really is a heck of a lot of fun and the Finland stages they recently added are bloody brilliant too.

I find it fantastically addicting but some more rally stages and countries (and some cars) wouldn't go amiss. Six countries seem a bit too few, especially that there aren't many truly different stages in each location.

Practically my only complaint though, apart from some minor details.

on monday should be another content update with speculated R4 cars.

achievements are in steam already some think its going to include Evo of somekind also.

I've been looking around and can't find any settings or workarounds to make a Fanatec CSR feel anywhere near decent in this game :(

Anyone had any joy or can point me in the right direction before I go for a refund?
I've been burnt too many times by codies and their terrible ffb efforts in all the F1 games. Say it doesn't have to be so in this one too :)

f1 by different people ;)

try default for wheel and lower tourque alignment. the settings are there but each person is different.have you got soft lock on ingame ?

the ffb is probably some of the best in any car game ever made.

so its sad if you miss out on the best rally car game ever made because of your wheel setting.;).

what car are you trying to drive obviously they are all different.

heres me doing a 2nd in world in subaru 2001 on the body bag maker sweet lamb wales.

Yeah, it's all my fault. This game has amazing ffb ";)"
Let's just ignore the 100's of threads complaining and trying to post fixes for it.

Glad you're having fun at least though :)

petey the fact its so good and i know you just weak trolling is quite amusing. go read the reviews. waste more time trolling.

your problem is down to you not setting your wheel up.

Trolling? Please... What is my motivation exactly?

Oh, and in case you hadn't noticed, I was asking for wheel/game settings
