DiRT Rally Hits Steam Early Access

At the moment the 'test' season is set for one attempt, which is why I asked whether we all want to allow event restarts so it can be enabled for the next one.

I like how it's a marathon not a sprint people just need to learn to control themselves.

I lost something like 4 minutes in the first stage from a puncture but still tried my best on the other 3

If you could limit restart attempts then maybe but I don't like the idea of some guy sat trying dozens of times until he finally gets every corner perfect.

If you want time trial just go in career/custom events and try to beat everyones times your friends times show up at the scoreboard if you press f2.

leagues should be proper rally affairs?

Nothing stops people practising in single player before they have their one crack at the league

Same here I can't link my Codemasters account with my Steam account . It takes me to the page where I type my Steam details in, then I press the link accounts button and it just sits there for a minute or two before taking me back to Codemasters' website with a message asking me to try again later. :confused:

Agreed , the more realistic the better for me. Adds that element of danger,,,and takes away he who has the most time on his hands wins ;-)
 
Loving it. But playing with controller, I've had to up the sensitive and linearity up to almost max as I prefer twitchy response.

But I've noticed the cars will 'steer' into corners. Like there is assisted steering like the noon settings had in F1 games. Is there a way to disable this?
