This is 100% a thing and it's slowly ruining the game for me, the car will slowly turn into corners, and you kind of have to pull it out of the turn in. Which can cause issues. Not sure if this is the attempt at having the car follow camber or to aid me because I'm using a controller?

I hope neither as the camber doesn't exist in most places when it occurs and I don't want aid!

I've not read anything about this. So I could only suggest a few random things to try :/ Is it a deadzone issue due to the high sensitivity? Or having the FFB on in the options is messing up your controls? Try it with keyboard controls as well to see if you notice the same. There is probably some xml modding that could be done as well but I don't know much about that!

Needed to take a screenshot of this so I can keep it as a memory that I was 1st at one point :D

I know what you guy are getting at. It feels like the controller is drifting a bit, but doesn't seem to be related to anything on the road or anything consistent with the controller.
 
I've just had a great little race on the road ending up third. It was on Stage 1: Gordolon - Courte Montee.

Really enjoyed this track.

I find the tracks you race before here, if you don't stay on the road with all four wheels, you will fly right off.
 
So this thread makes me want to really get this now despite what I thought about early access at the start! I'm on a laptop right now though with no chance of a steering wheel in the near future so how is this with a controller?

Same thoughts. Seems like a lot people are enjoying it and from the vids I've watched it does look good. I'll be using a 360 controller when I do pick it up too so I wouldn't mind some input either.
 
Was hoping I could get my track times in before it ended. I got to the third track and it tells me time expired and I was returned to the menu :( I don't see see they can't just allow you to finish as long as you don't leave the current session.

Still keep getting that message when I try to link my Steam account, I've been trying on and off all day, will give it another try tomorrow. Can't play in the league until then. :(

I'm really enjoying it with the 360 pad.
And I managed to win the Monaco section of the championship in the winter ! So it doesn't seem like a disadvantage.
I didn't change any settings on the pad, just left it at defaults.
Had all driving aids off & headcam view.
 
I spent ages setting up my T500RS this afternoon and got it just right, I saw I'd been accepted to the League (Thanks!) and jumped straight in to the League Event, as soon as it started I realised the wheel was completely messed up again, it hadn't saved any of my settings! So I had to do the whole thing with a completely messed up wheel and no handbrake! :eek: It wouldn't even let me change in-between Stages :( And I didn't want to leave/restart incase it messed it up or wasn't allowed. Gutted. :p
 
I'm thoroughly enjoying it with the 360 controller. I'm a bit of a twitcher with the sticks though so the standard settings for sensitivity just don't cut it. Feels like I'm lumbering a brick around unless I crank the sensitivity up. I think at the moment I've got 90% sensitivity and 10% linearity. Seems to be working good, but at some points it feels like I have to pull the car out of some form of 'dead lock'. I don't know, I'll toy around more tonight.

Other than that, nothing has had me on the edge on the sofa like this racing for a long time. I missed a decent racer like this! No flash backs, nothing. You even get a smacked wrist for restarting! You lose 1,000 credits out of a 5,000 credit bonus. Which is bloody good! No more hand holding, if you **** up. It's on your head and you need to make it up in the next stage. And you better hope you spend your time wisely if you crash.

Which brings me onto stages and teams. I've not delved into the teams yet but my god the stages! No longer 60 second wonders. Full 15 minute stages. SOOOOO GOOOOD.
 
No problem with the pad here either , works exceptionally well .
Was only going to have a quick look last night using the pad , as I didn't really have much time to set the wheel up , 2 hours later I'm still playing on the pad.


Can't quite believe how good this is and how it was kept so quiet. Quite refreshing really that there hasn't been months of marketing bs that raises everyone's hopes to u achievable levels. A really good move by codies releasing this as early access , think they have mended a lot of bridges with those of us disappointed with the direction their rally games have been going.

Same :confused: site doesn't work at all in firefox either

edit: spammed it a few times and it worked randomly, must be issue their end
