DiRT Rally Hits Steam Early Access

It's such a tricky track! I wasn't too bad on the snow (not too good either lol) but it was the later part of the track I found hardest
 
This is such a refreshing thread. Full of people who love the game because its hard rather than hating it!

Modern gaming is pants.

The first one i actually finished with two 360's in the road, i finished at 6:45. I reckon i would have a good chance, i can get 1 second up on the first stage over the 'professional' AI.

I agree, i absolutely love this game :D
 
I bought this last week and I am loving it! Reminds me on the good old days of Colin Mcrae Rally 1. I'm still getting the hang of it; working through the 60s champs over and over.

I saw that there are two OCUK Leagues, would it be possible to join? I've requested and my username is keithflc.

It's so unforgiving, you have to be deadly precise all the time.

At first I thought the steering was horrible and found it impossible to keep the thing stable in even a streight line, but I've realised it's the setup. On gravel I need to soften up the springs a lot, the diff a lot and the dampers a little. On tarmac I'm finding success in the RWD cars by going more firm at the front. I'm thinking I need to almost max out the dampers..

Not seen a rally game this good since CMR2. :D
 
Faster than me! And I restarted it so many times. I'd say that was pretty quick

Still miles from the computers time on my run though...
 
Don't expect to stay top for long, I span on the second stage and lost it by about 15 seconds. Only managed to come top of the event due to winning the 1st stage by 30 odd seconds. :D
