Just got dfgt local £45 box and all pick it up tomorrow.:D
 
Right got my DFGT set up, did a custom run Pant Mawr sprint 2 crashs but still did it in 4mins dead 1st try.

No doubt a few runs to get used to it times should improve.

The steering is spot on well worth getting one.:D

haha I got one on the way also £50~ Stopped playing with the joypad while I wait for it, we all need to gang up on dg and knock him off his throne!

What do you use to record, Shadowplay?
Loved the mini video above, barely lifted off the throttle the whole time, and still room to shave more off.
Wish it would show the worldwide rankings around you, rather than just steam friends.

So it's impossible to see the 1st place time? and what does community delta mean in the options on a custom rally?
 
fraps.the above one was recorded at 4k then downsized to 1080.

the positions they are going to fix just its not main priority at moment.

Germany should hopefully be this week maybe with all the new cars.

i want my r5 turbo and opel manta :cool:

I was just about comfortable with my DFGT and then the force feedback patch got released and its completely different now. I will have to spend the time now setting the controls the way I want it :mad:

afaik they changed how the steering ratios work and now each car is specifc and you should set your wheel to 900 degrees then each car uses the real world steering ratio like other sims do ?

I've not played since the ffb patch though
 
they say 540 degrees is now ideal. i just keep to 200 as i did before and turned off some of the settings they added so its similar but a bit easier to drive.

once you get it right it is better than old steering.
 

Not the best I know, but I was quite proud of this run even though I got quite lucky twice :D. I know the quality is not too great I recorded it with OBS.
 
Thanks. Yeah I was being a bit too brave with the brakes. I think that run I went around -1.8 first sector and I've done -3.8 in it before however I never finished those runs :). That part at the end of the second sector with the awful camber is really annoying.

love to use my g27 on this but i need to find a way to stop my chair from moving as its on wooden flooring..so when im pressing the pedals i move backwards :(
 
Driving Position/Camera View?

Which driving position/camera view do you use there are 6 positions we shall call them as follows see below-
1:full Dash[is where you are sitting and can view all the dash]
2:Rear>a
3:Rear>b
4:Car Front
5:Bonnet/Hud
6:Top of Dash
The above positions are in order from position/camera view 1:full dash.

As l can see it there are only 3 main positions for driving 1:full dash, 2:Bonnet/Hud, 3:Top of dash.

I drive using position Bonnet/Hud as this suites me as l feel it gives a better view for judging bends and
the road ahead making for faster driving.

So what position/camera view do you use and why, if you use 1:full dash and not tried another position say 5:Bonnet/Hud.

Give it ago to see if it improves your driving speed giving better times.
