I started playing from 6:Top of Dash, couldn't really handle 1:Full Dashboard as it obstructed too much of my view. Kept on this way for about 240 hours I suppose (all streamed aswell) but people kept suggesting trying 5: Bonnet/Hood and so I tried it one day and pretty much straight away became slightly more consistent as in not failing as much as usual (and haven't gone back since).

Also the times improved a lot and most noticably on the RWD cars which I just couldn't handle at all from the Dash. From the hood I've even managed to set a couple of top 10 times (http://www.twitch.tv/vajbtv/c/6879626 f.e) with RWD which I never thought would be possible at all.

I tried a couple of runs with the bumper cam (4: Car front?) but I just don't know where the sides of the car is in that view.

So, Hood cam it is for me, definitely!

And by the way, since it's my first post on the forums - Hello to you all! - A few of you I know from my Livestream (Hello DG for one) and for the rest I'm looking forward to getting to know you. :)

Logitech G27, use the flappy paddles for sequential gears and I use the H Shifter as a handbrake.

It's a fantastic game, I started off just using an Xbox controller and really enjoyed it, I then bought a G27 and for the first 2 to 3 days I was raging so hard and could barely complete a stage but after a while you get used to how it feels and how to control the cars.

It really is one of the best games I've played, I've never been that much of a racing game fan but this game made me want to buy a wheel after about 2 weeks.

So I just quit during my clubman championship but when I went back onto career it resumed me in the middle of an open championship?

So what position/camera view do you use and why, if you use 1:full dash and not tried another position say 5:Bonnet/Hud.

I use 6, but I've modded the fov to lower it & moved the camera back slightly so the top of the wheel is just visible at the very bottom of my screen.

I do run 3 screens though, which suits the low fov.
