sorry, your reply was a bit patronising, I know pinging the stick around will cause erratic results, but as mentioned above fine feathering of any of the inputs with a controller seems almost impossible, which is fine for an arcade driver but a bit naff with a sim.

2010 Cars, 4 Tracks, NO REPAIRS. At all. The event runs from the 28th to the 8th.

Due to the way the Event creation runs, I'm not sure if you're able to quit mid-stage and come back to it later. So my napkin maths says it will take about 20mins to complete.

In the OCUK Restarters League, we're still working our way through BOATS BOATS BOATS. We have 7 entries to the most recent event, which is 1/3 of the total number of members. Its nice to see so many people playing against each other. Even if we're currently losing to DG!

been fighting over that 3:17 with katinacooker in wales - was on 3:17.9ish now on 3:17.0 :P I reset my time without really thinking so had to set a time again - took that 4th place back by improving less than a second... including a barrel roll on the latter half of the stage :D

I had to restart about a million times to get the time i did, i really don't think i can do better! You win this round, Zogger!

Me too.. It was the same couple of corners got me pretty much every time.. the 3 left tight through (not into) the posts or the 3 right which is always slightly later than I expect so I end up driving up the hill on the inside or overcompensating and flying into the trees. Then when I reset my entry I wasn't thinking about how late it was so only had a 6 or 7 runs to recreate my time.

If using a G27 I recommend you should have damper set to 100% in the profiler. It can then be reduced in game via wheel weight. Also try using the Impact ffb mod or probably even if not, then I find its best to drop wheel weight down to 10% and increase self aligning torque to 120%. :)
 
Just did the league new event, got a good time on the Greece stage the other 3 were so/so. Probably spent about 20 minutes in the 2010 cars so that was interesting to say the least!
 
error 41 is unfortunately a very generic error with lots of possible causes. For me it was because my graphics card didn't support DX11 (although you've been playing it before so it's probably not that)
Do you have disk space on the drive it's installed on?
Have you tried verifying the game cache?

just google dirt rally error 41 and you'll find a lot of possibilities
 
I get crashes but no errors. Sometimes when I restart a stage it just crashes, has happened since I bought it.

Anyone know if and when the Rallycross update is coming?
 
it is the 3rd of august. also congrats to vajb his birthday and codemasters sent him some Dirt rally swag for his stream




gunna have a blast on this today rip some times up :cool:

cant wait for rally x :)
