Then i assume 2 of those is too much for my PSU.. doh

Don't count on it, you'll be fine. I've got one of the Gigabyte Odin PSU's, that allow you to monitor power usage in real time. The highest my system (in sig) has peaked is 320W under heavy benching (3DMark Vantange, Prime simultaniously), and q6600's (95W TDP before clocking) / 8800GTX's (185w TDP) are pretty power hungry.

I'd be very surprised to see a crossfire system break 500W on a regular basis, with your PSU you'll be fine, it's good quality and you've got a decent margin.

ok from what i gather these cards are going to be really powerful, so power infact that if im thinking right a beefy cpu is required so that they wont be limited?

ive got a q6600 2.4ghz and starting to wonder if it'll be enough?!

i had a feeling about that! website title kida gave me a clue.. :D

ive got it up to 3.2ghz before but its not pirticually stable and it just ended in lots of blue screens.. :/ il have to read the oc'ing tips again i guess! also moving from a nvidia card to an ati card....any motherboard issues?

anyway will wait til the prices are out then il see which one i can get for £300!
