cough.....
When exactly did you receive the email from your source in Sapphire that you mentioned in your post yesterday?

Please remember that any mention of competitors, hinting at competitors or offering to provide details of competitors will result in an account suspension. The full rules can be found under the 'Terms and Rules' link in the bottom right corner of your screen. Just don't mention competitors in any way, shape or form and you'll be OK.
cough.....
Old GFX cards that were a few months previous "new/Current" go end of line or worthless
Hey, listen, I'm not supporting or defending anyone here, just explaining the way retailing is
I was speaking to whoever said that the "4850 and 4870 were slower and less feature packed than their NVidia counterparts." They patently weren't.
What are they doing that is so bad?

Sigh. This is what happend when you can only quote once. And this thread is far too long for me to go back and find out who I'm supposed to be arguing with. *rollseyes*And I wasn't replying to you
They'll drop it when demand slows and not a moment before.
Sneaky underhanded ways.
They had DX10 gimped, they ranted about DX10.1 and had 10.1 code patched out of Assassin's Creed, they had it removed from 3DMark Vantage, they've gone way overboard with their renaming of GPUs.
8800GT, 8800GTS, 8800GSO, 9600GSO (with about 5 different versions) 9800GT, 9800GTX, 9800GTX+ GTS250, mGTX260, mGTX280.
Propaganda against anything that they don't support, and then whoring of these same technologies when they do support it.
Massive overpricing, slagging off their competition with low blows and lies.
Complete determination to produce bigger more expensive cards with no apparent thought to anything else.
The big coverup they tried when a load of their mobile GPUs failed, then tried to sweep it under the carpet.
And now they've been caught readying more G92 chips to be renamed to G300s.
Oh, and don't forget the disabling of PhysX when an ATi card is detected.
Amongst others.
This isn't called being a fanboy, it's called being a consumer with the right to express opinions on companies doing such things.
It's just a matter of time before they're slapped with a massive anti-competitive fines.
roughly 5pm why?
infact to be presise

Or when the greenies lower they're prices.
roughly 5pm why?
cough.....
That'd be an ATi decision though really, rather than retailer but still - even if nVidia took massive cuts, if the ATi stuff was still selling just as well as ever they're hardly going to cut it needlessly are they?
I think Virus has lost the plot
