it would have been good if overclockers could have updated the main graphics page with the newest cards so we can read actual specs on them, and get prepared for the prices to pay, then choose over which to go for. Im not rushing into buying the first 58** card i see thats not out of stock, i want time to read over them - then probably find they are out of stock

ps, he is pulling your leg so he makes sure he gets one, the cards are out tomorrow!

I find it best to form opinions of people from my own experiences. Other peoples few points are valid but I find can taint yourself.

Both companies have issues my view, my radeon gives me grief at times, but nvidias cover up of the gpu issues dont indear themselves to me. Btw good products and good drivers :(

No company is perfect, but you having troubles with your graphics card is by no means the same as being annoyed at the way nVidia does its thing.

They're separate issues.

Your card can go faulty regardless of if it's nVidia or ATi.

It's like CPUs, you don't really see people going on about reliability, premium and quality when raging about CPUs.

They will be no more than £249 and £299 and no reason why You won't see them at £199 and £249 as soon as supply is good !

There is a reason - it's called profiting.

As long as there is a big demand for the card the prices will stay high, they'll only start to drop when people slow up on the buying.

Stop talking crap. I know from various insiders they're out tommorow. You will all be surprised with the...

Someone can't see a joke!

Stop telling everyone they'll be out tomorrow - they'll be none left for us then!

NDA! And besides, they want you to rush in and buy the first card you see for fear of it going out of stock - uninformed impulse buys always bring the largest profit margins.

Me? If the leaked benchies are correct (within -10% of the gtx295) then I'll buy a couple of 5870's around 10 days after launch - like I did with the 4870's last year. By that time the "early adopter" tax will have been wiped off :-)

so were is the cards then its 23 no benches no cards

that little clock in the right hand bottom side of your screen may not be correct. It's still the 22nd in good 'ol blighty.

I don't really hold with that !, it's called business, No one ever thinks about what these company's lose when the stock goes EOL It cannot all be returned to the distributors , If You cut deals and make extra efforts to procure early stock You have to "make hey while the Sun shines"

The consumer is not in anyway forced to pay a premium ;)
