Odd I thought they did, I even quoted their spec just in case the review got pulled. Took me a few minutes to rehost the pics must have been then, not that it matters. Loads more tomorrow.

My eyes must be slowly failing me then. :(

Once again, I do apologies for removing Azza's thread everyone. I honestly wasn't trying to an idiot by removing it. It's just to keep everything that will be officially released, without any questions, in a whole new separate thread.

looking further at the benches, a 100 quid 4870 or 115 gtx260 is looking even better.
Ignoring the significance of dx11 a £200 4870 crossfire will outperfom a 5870 (possibly priced at 300). Those 5870's really cant be too expensive, then again what difference will the 2gb version make?
Thing is, ati really really wanted a dx11 title available to showcase, in such games it could well destroy nvidia counterparts but right now we just wouldnt know

Those ASUS cards look great, hopefully they'll be the final designs, I can't stand those horribly tacky stickers most brands use.

At least they kept the horseman to the box art and left it off the card itself :p

Yea i agree, those cards do look pretty sweet!

Right im off to bed now, hopefully ill have some good news by the time i reach work

Well at launch you usually find all the cards are the same stock design so all the cards are pretty much the same. The voltage software tweaker is a nice addition from asus though and i doubt there will be any programs like rivatuner supporting this card for a little while. I think on release you should be looking for the price/warranty and what is bundled with the card as to which is the best card to buy.

I'm pretty sure the cards will be the same on release, just depends what warranty each company doles out. You'll factory overclocked ones later on in the year no doubt.

Edit - :(:(:(

Good advice mate, noted.

Thanks to help from guys on here, I came to the decision that my rig is either going to run:

AMD Phenom II X3 Tri Core 720 BE 2.80GHz + 5850

or

AMD Phenom II X4 Quad Core 955 BE 3.20GHz + 4890 2GB Vapor (Sapphire)

What do you think? is that CPU going to limit a 5850 and if not I'm assuming it will still roll over the QC+4890? (I know we dont have much benching to go on)

Well hopefulyl we'll have prices and benchmarks by lunchtime today.

If the 5870 is £250 below i think ill take a punt for that when i build my new rig, if not then its the 5850, either way Im sure to see a difference over my x1650!!!!
