Wow this thread has certainly grown today, been at work all dya followed by the quacks, are there any benchmarks yet or are we still waiting? (saves me looking through multiple pages for info)

No matter how you look at it, those massive lines are too much of a hinderance to make it feasable to play with , nevermind the cost. BUT this is a very big but, its more the implications of the technology in the future, im sure screen manufacturers could just make 3x2 screens fixed together especailly for high def gaming with very small lines between the screens to give the insane 8kx2k resolutions.

Untill that day, the only other time i could imagine buying into this technology if the game supported it so that it could do things like pputting maps, character stats etc etc on the other screens so you could see everything all at once ( much like sup com).

Depends on the game, because for fps, the horizontal border in the middle would be annoying. A 3 by 3 config would be better, but then you'd still have the same aspect ratio, just a mahoosive screen.

Next thing we know someone will line up about 15 monitors around them in a circle and instead of turning the mouse he will just turn around in a swivvel chair to see what's going on behind him
