Don
Using WoW as an example of how good it is is another fudge, it's massively CPU limited.
Please remember that any mention of competitors, hinting at competitors or offering to provide details of competitors will result in an account suspension. The full rules can be found under the 'Terms and Rules' link in the bottom right corner of your screen. Just don't mention competitors in any way, shape or form and you'll be OK.
Lol, can someone start a seperate thread when we actually get anything.
Thanks.
Man I've been away for 4 hours and still no info? Oh well and kylew did that thread get locked?
yeah, single height is what it should be, with a centre screen for the main action and a left and right for peripheral vision.Christ those 6 monitors look bloody awful, the center of the screen needs it's own monitor, isnt that really obvious?

I reckon it was done solely on popularity, as we all know, as lame as WoW is, it's disgustingly popular.
It's been CPU limited for years and years, it's a bit like using Minesweeper as a benchmark. It's about the only game that you'll get a linear increase in fps just by overclocking your CPU.Err you sure it's that cpu limited at 7000xwhatever it was Jokester? Maybe on yesterdays tech.
When the bezels are vertical, it's not noticable, I've messed around with HL2 across 2 screens, one screen being the main view you'd see in normal situations, then the right screen showed right peripheral vision. How anyone can play a game with big black bars all over the screen I have no idea, I mean you can't even see the character.
Whats the point, the gaps between the screens are just annoying
