Animals are food.
Humans are food then. We're animals after all.
Animals are food.
Yes but it absolutely doesn't stop it from happening.Beating animals to death would be illegal.
Livestock require massive quantities of plant-based feed to produce a relatively small amount of meat. This results in the cultivation of many more crops to feed animals, leading to a greater overall land requirement compared to directly growing crops for human consumption.
Therefore, if your concern is minimizing animal deaths, opting for a plant-based diet would be the better choice.

Yeah but our oceans could be empty in 25 years if current demand follows predictions, it's just not sustainable and certainly couldn't be used as a replacement for plant based foods? Unless I missed your point?
Beating animals to death would be illegal.
I have no concern about minimising animal deaths as I like eating meat. I enjoy the taste and the texture of it.
Yes it is. Do you know for sure the last bit of bacon you ate didn't come from a pig that had it's skull caved in with a hammer?
Sick piglets are killed by smashing them into the ground, in other words, beaten to death.
88% of 5 months old pigs are "stunned" in gas chambers, baby male chickens are ground up alive in the egg industry, male calfs are killed at just days old in the dairy industry.
You've no idea what happens in animal agriculture clearly, and I'm not surprised, they don't want people to know these things.
Do you know for sure your last loaf of bread didn’t come from a sex offender?
Neither do you farmer Johno.
No, but my point was that crops going directly to humans causes less animal deaths than the crops being required for animal feed. You was talking about morality and animal deaths. We will all be in big trouble in 25 years anyway. Lots of animal deaths are coming humans include, but crop farming isn’t a clean business at all.
I never used to, but I do now, why do you think im vegan? Ive seen a pig factory farm up close, it isnt pretty.

I think you know less than you think you do TBH.

That is a completely morally bankrupt statement.
^^^^ this is the crap I'm talking about... let's try and use emotionally charged or attempted shock tactics as a crutch because my argument can't stand on its own merits.
No, but my point was that crops going directly to humans causes less animal deaths than the crops being required for animal feed.
Then I was trying to point out that fishing isn't even a possible alternative (even if this causes less death than both the above) as it's not a sustainable solution.
Sorry I hope that makes sense it's been a long day!
Why don't you educate us then. You just sound silly making such statements. What Johno says is true.
Humans are food then. We're animals after all.
