Divinity Original Sin

How is everyone getting on, im at the first town. I made a wizard and a knight for my two characters. I really like that aswell having two people right from the start.
Im only level 3 and I have 4 in my party now. But the orcs are way too hard. Should I be fighting the undead first?

Loving it, its really in depth and I've spent about 4hrs so far just trying to solve the murder mystery in the 1st town and some side quests! Got a Cleric - Knight combo with a Wizard and Fighter merc backup completing my party of 4.

Oh and let me save you an hour or so of frustration that I've had. LEVEL UP BLACKSMITHING! Discovering I could smash open chests instead of lockpicking them was great.... discovering my weapon had broken and I couldnt repair it without the blacksmithing skill not so great... :(

Repair shops;)

What repair shop? Ive searched the entire 1st town and theres nothing but a forge area behind the closed general shop?

How is this game for multiplayer? Is there some kind of "search for game" function and you can jump in with others, or is it more just play with specific friends?

Or is it really just a single player game?

Im only guessing, but generally co-op games are best played with mates rather than randoms. Havent tried co-op but I think im happy enough to play solo.

Saw this on Steam a few months ago and thought it looked my kind of thing!

Am I right in assuming that it plays like a regular action RPG except for the turn based combat?? (ie. free roam movement until a battle scenario occurs?)

Also, is it actually finished now? When I first saw it I think it was still in beta!!

There are a few bugs here and there, but it is finished.

I wouldn't describe it as an "action" RPG, but yes - there is free roaming for your chars until a fight begins.

I love the fact that you can barter with almost anyone, you never know what some people will have to trade.

Some challenging battles so far too, great to see a game with such depth :)

I seem to have problems with the camera, it only allows rotation about 30 degrees at the most, and its frustrating. Am I doing something wrong or is that just the way it is?

I was able to play only for an hour last night (no time :() and I must say, I'm quite impressed. As others have said, movement on the map isn't as smooth as it should be but that's the only small flaw I've found. Battles are difficult and satisfying and there mare loads of things to do, explore, smash, steal etc.

Hope I have more time for it tonight!

It's restricted on purpose. There's a gameplay option to unlock it, but they warn that it might break the game :)
