Accent? Sounds like he's running out of air every couple of seconds.

Yeah the pitch of his voice is up and down, up and down and he does it within the same word so it's sounds like he's saying "wrONG"

Maybe he should try opera singing, about the only job where changing the pitch of your voice every half a second is tolerated or to some people, enjoyable

Nvidia have knocked it out of the park with their dlss and ray tracing capabilities, to have the game running better whilst also looking better, incredible!

Error in his testing. Reconstruction won’t give that big of a jump.

Guess we'll find out soon enough but I can see in the scenes which are particularly intensive, there being a good uplift due to having probably multiple denoisers thus more resourcing power being required?

Bryan mentioned ray reconstruction adds 2ms latency at 4k on an RTX 4090. Did I pick that up correct or was he still talking about FG?
I believe it was just the actual performance cost in real time. Said it was about 4 times as long as just using DLSS super reolution or an extra 1.5ms per frame at 4K on a 4090. Sounds like a lower frame rate unless the time is made up elsewhere by not needing the standard denoiser.

Has anyone tried The First Descendant beta on Steam?

Has DLSS, FG and is UE5.

Free to get onto the beta just click 'request' on the Steam page, will install it and have a bash later.

Based on my testing, when you're above 60 fps, you either need lightning quick reactions or/and extremely perfect eye sight to be able to pick out the latency and artifact issues.

I've done some prep for tomorrow out of curiosity for a 3080 how performance will improve or decrease using settings you would actually have to use for a playable experience so one ray tracing with balanced dlss and path tracing with dlss performance:
