DLSS Momentum Continues: 50 Released and Upcoming DLSS 3 Games, Over 250 DLSS Games and Creative Apps Available Now

It really is hilarious and utterly ridiculous statements now from such people tbh especially when you have the evidence there to show where/how such tech is better than "traditional" methods. I would put such peoples claims in the same boat as the people who say the earth is flat

There is terrible shimmering on XeSS and FSR and I see this issue in all games, particularly those with foliage rendering FSR almost unusable in such titles. See below images. Intel just released XeSS 1.3 dll which has massively improved the shimmering and using this DLL in forbidden west massively reduces the shimmering to the point I found XeSS superior to FSR 2.2. Due to AMD's stupidity, they have made FSR non upgradable so even when they release FSR 3.1, its entirely up to Nixxes to implement it. Unlike XeSS and DLSS where we can mod in the new versions on Day 1.

Notice the shimmering and nosie on the moving foliage below? It was significantly worse than FSR on XeSS 1.2. XeSS 1.3 has cleaned it a lot and is superior to FSR 2.2. DLSS does not have this issue at all. Its entirely clean. In fact, if you set the render scale to 77% on DLSS using DLSS Tweaks, the image is superior to native TAA which also suffers from this issue.

Provide a DLSS and FSR 2 shot for comparison. At 1440P, I do not see any of the shimmer you are showing here. Perhaps you are rendering at some sub-720P resolution in performance mode hence why the shimmer. Even when I set monitor resolution to 1080P I do not see what you are seeing.

Watching this, its very clear how much FSR has fallen behind the other 2 tech. Heck, even Intel is improving XeSS faster than AMD and their solution as of today is better than FSR and is user upgradeable.

Ouch, a bad look for FSR, it's clearly far behind now. Easy to understand why Sony is dumping FSR for its new console this year

And with Microsoft promising an unbelievable performance leap for its next gen console (which is only possible with major advances in AI), and with AMD so far not committing to AI in gaming GPUs, it's possible that AMD might be dumped entirely by Xbox/Sony

It's obvious that AMD have a distinct lack of software engineers compared to the competition, which isn't a surprise really as they've been running close to the bone staffing-wise for a while now.

That's XeSS 1.1, there have been 2 version updates since then, does the same still apply to the current version? You can swap out the dll with XeSS in any game just like with DLSS.
