Do dealerships not negotiate on used cars any more?

How does insurance on 330e versus 320i compare,

strangely seem more 330SE pro than 320i SE (ie.non-M's I 'm looking for) and some pros have part leather whatever that is (assume it doesn't mean part alcantara which is great)

must have been some kind of non-premium/40K tax on some pro's - haven't looked it up on dvla.

I think it's virtually the same. I was seeing around £550-600 p.a. My current car was about £550, which is far more than I'd like to pay but at least it isn't jumping!

I am not sure I understand how this is even a consideration unless you've only just passed your test or something. Surely once you've been driving a decade or more the exact version of a particular car doesn't make enough difference to insurance to influence a purchase choice - the premium being mostly affected by other factors?

Why is this strange - the way the company car tax system works means almost anyone who picks a 3 series as a company car will select a 330e not a 320i, as the tax difference is so massive it makes the 320i a pointless choice. This means that most of the 330e on the market will be former fleet cars and most of the 320i on the market will be former private purchases, of which there will be a lot less, especially as most private buyers would go for the M Sport.

I've secured the 330e in Leeds! I hope to be going up there on Wednesday, either in my car for p/x, or on the train. Either way, I'm pretty excited.

I don't know how, but the tax is £180.

I'll post a link later, but it looks badass. Quite frankly, I may remove the body kit that's on it and get some cash for that instead. I'd rather be a little stealthy about how quick it is, and I'd rather not have it look like a dick extension.

What body kit lol

If it's the car at Stratstone Leeds, it looks like an aftermarket kit to me

Even if it's a genuine version, I cant imagine you'd get much back for it second hand.

Haha it is that one. I'm glad someone else paid £550 for it! I could probably get £100 or something on Facebook Marketplace.

Actually, it doesn't seem to have the rear thing.

This is the car:

Confusingly, they quoted the price over the phone as £19,900 and I have it by email, so I'm running with that.

I have no idea. But their tread will be fine, otherwise BMW would have changed them.

Because that's all that matters?

I'd not hesitate to spend the extra on this one:

For the most part, yes. That's a nice one.
