Do you Shift or Lock?

It's strange because my friend is doing the same degree as me, Computer Science and even when he writing code he still uses Caps Lock, guess it develops from where you learnt to type.

While we're on the topic, how many people type in 'http://www.<some-domain>.com' in the address bar instead of typing in '<some-domain>' and pressing Ctrl+Enter (browser support permitting of course)?

Once I learnt that shortcut I never typed .com again, it's a bitch when I come across a browser not supporting it as I automatically do it now.

{snip} I was doing some work with a friend earlier and noticed how he used 'Caps Lock' to capitalise a single character, {snip}
No offence, but does your m8 know what the SHIFT key's for? :confused:

Em... I've seen the opposite! Yes someone typing while holding down SHIFT Key :eek:

If you're a fairly speedy typist I doubt you could use the caps lock efficiently to be honest. I use the right hand shift key mostly, no idea why I juse find it easier to press it with my pinky I guess.

Shift for several words. If theres a sentence or more then i use Caps as i cant be bothred holding shift for the whole sentence(s). LOL :p :D
