Not to mention the fact that the police box is kind of the icon for doctor who, so that will never change as its so recognisable. It's like coca cola changing from red cans or microsoft changing their windows logo, its not gonna happen.

Pity, as I think that a correctly working Tardis would have a lot more story opportunities than a non-correctly working one. Could think of a few really interesting story uses for it.

Well that was OK, I'm not sure I can forgive the BBC for the abortion they've made of the theme music though :(
 
Was a touch worried by the beginning but it got better, the trailer at the end looked like there are some good episodes coming and I saw that woman from the library episode who knew the doctor in the future. Wonder if its the same character or just the same actress.

Very nice hair indeed on the new companion and pretty face, legs were too skinny though so not really my type :)

Bit puzzled though why the little girl was praying at the beginning and said "thank you santa" instead of "thank you god" maybe I missed something but smacked a little of political correctness if I heard right.
 
I thought the episode was pretty dire to be honest. Story was abit thin on the ground and it just seemed cobbled together. I don't mind the "bravardo" **** that the doctor is towting lately but this episode was filled with it. If the second episode doesn't improve it I won't be going out of my way to watch it
 
I absolutely loved that :D Think the new guy is just right, and the dialogue between him and the girl looks promising (side note: omg she is hot, got a real thing for red heads!)
 
Not Moffat's best story and a pretty weak series opener but Matt Smith really impressed me and the girl's hot and can act so she's already better than that last ginger bint. Theme music sucks donkey ****.
