She is very fit and all that, but I thought her acting was spot on as well, a far cry from Donna.

That was superb, everything about it felt so much more assured under the hand of Moffat and the "basically.... run" line was utter genius.
I didnt see all of it, but I like some of what I saw of it.
The Doctor seemed better than Tenant's, not all overacting, and a bit less arrogant.
The Tardis inside was much better, looks a bit like a place you could live, instead of a badly made, obvious set, that was only slightly bigger on the inside than it was on the outside. Hopefully we'll see more of it used, its a bit strange that they didnt before, you would expect them to as its a set, the one set that is constant, even to save a bit of money. It would at least give the series a more consistent feel.
The music was overwrought thought, but you cant have everything.
It seems this one may be worth watching.

I was a bit let down. Maybe I just wanted to like it too much.
1) New intro is crap. How less exciting can you get ? At least in the other intro, the TARDIS was going fast and mental down a tunnel. Now it's just bobbing along like it's on a weekend cruise. (I actually don't mind the music too much)
2) Based on this 1 ep, I still think Matt might be too young. In my mind, the doctor should instantly command respect and be the centre of attention in any given situation and I think you need age for that. No matter how he acts, he just looks like a kid.
3) New TARDIS interior is TOO wacky. It's like they threw all conscious thought of design out of the window and just stuck the wackiest items they could think of together.
I'm a fan of wacky, but even this doesn't sit right with me.
On a plus side, I would intefere with Amy in so many ways

It's rather disappointing. The eccentricity doesn't work on him at all. With Tennant it worked. With Smith it is just weird. The new interior isn't better than the old one and doesn't look very good.
The intro is rubbish as has been said. The only good thing is his companion, and I don't think I'll be watching the rest of the series.

I really enjoyed that episode and definitely agree with the sentiments regarding Karen Gillen 
The theme music was crap, why did they feel the need to change it so much
Matt played the part quite well also, maybe a little over the top here and there but it seemed to work.
The TARDIS looked great (it's probably my dirty mind but there did seem to be a lot of erm, adult toys in their design) and much better than the pictures earlier in the thread made it look.
The hour long episode was stretching it a wee bit though but that's a small niggly complaint and it did mean more screen time for Karen! Definitely looking forward to the rest of the season.

Was it actually in HD though? I mean I watched it on BBC HD, but it showed in the listing as a normal program not an HD one.
