Doctor Who

Well in a way it does matter. If you don't like an actor or celebrity then it doesn't matter what they do. You will instantly dislike it. Doesn't matter how good or bad the writing is or whether the production team is well skilled.
Wrong. My wife detests Jim Carrey but really likes the Truman Show. It's the only thing she can stand him in.

Chibs could write an episode which has the doctor sitting on a deckchair reading a newspaper for 45 minutes and you'd still praise it.

Nothing has been confirmed yet, I won't believe it until the BBC announce it.

However, I have little confidence in any new actor playing the part until Chibs leaves. He's so bad that nobody can do the role justice while he's still there.

I've said it before, the best thing that can happen to Doctor Who is for the entire Chib/Whit era to get trashed from canon and they just pretend it never happened.

This 6 episode story arc looks great and very promising.

There are still plenty of fans of the show. It's just the very vocal minority that keep whinging about it. But they still keep watching.
Amusingly, I knew who had written this before even looking left

I’ve been watching Doctor Who since Jon Pertwee but I gave up at the end of Jodie’s first series. I tried but it’s just so awful that I don’t feel I need to punish myself any more.

I’ll try again when RTD takes over but I don’t feel the need to waste my time with this garbage until then.

The last few days I’ve been watching The Robots of Death and Horror of Fang Rock. Far, far superior to anything that’s had the name Doctor Who for the last three to four years.

I think Weeping Angels are my favourite Dr Who baddy.
I still think Blink is one of the best episodes of the new series and the Doctor was barely in it. Such a great story and so well done.

God the storylines were so much better back then.
Yup, also part way through Pyramids of Mars. I know I'm cherrypicking old stories to watch but they really are far superior.

Oh and this.
