I watch for a story and characters.
The stories have been absolutely awful and the character is more inconsistent than the most inconsistent thing I can think of.

As a 'Doctor light' episode, Blink is right up there as one of the best of the new who stuff. I think it's fantastic.Weeping Angels (right name)
Wrong. My wife detests Jim Carrey but really likes the Truman Show. It's the only thing she can stand him in.Well in a way it does matter. If you don't like an actor or celebrity then it doesn't matter what they do. You will instantly dislike it. Doesn't matter how good or bad the writing is or whether the production team is well skilled.
The clue is in the job title, it's entirely his responsibility.showrumner
What I meant is he didn't write all the scripts or direct every episode. So some blame lies with those he hired.
I would hope that was one of his conditions to returning. It's only going to work if Davies is given a free hand to rebuild Who the same way as when he first resurrected the franchise.
He was also often far, far too loud and imposing.Murray Gold did give the show a soul.
Amusingly, I knew who had written this before even looking leftThis 6 episode story arc looks great and very promising.
There are still plenty of fans of the show. It's just the very vocal minority that keep whinging about it. But they still keep watching.
You finally really did it. You maniacs! You blew it up! - moment
I still think Blink is one of the best episodes of the new series and the Doctor was barely in it. Such a great story and so well done.I think Weeping Angels are my favourite Dr Who baddy.
Yup, also part way through Pyramids of Mars. I know I'm cherrypicking old stories to watch but they really are far superior.God the storylines were so much better back then.
Don't believe a word you see anywhere unless it's an announcement by the BBC. I don't think anyone has ever predicted it correctly before an official announcement.Urghh....
I accept that the show can't be like when it was in the Tom Baker heyday but I can't find much redeeming about it.
Are you steve's alt?awesome a doctor who thread, I'm at home. Last episode was amazing.
Wasn't that in the Sun? Haven't they already claimed about five other actors are "odds on favourites" for the new Doctor already?Rumour is that David Tennant may return to play Dr Who.
Good. Very good. It's not just RTD coming back. His full production team including Julie Gardner and Phil Collinson are also returning.
