You have not been remotely polite. Calling people names while ignoring facts and evidence is not being polite and that's what you have been doing. I wasn't aware you got banned from speakers corner but with how you have been acting here, I can understand why they would.

You certainly proved a point.
Any statement made out of court is "hearsay". People throw that word around like they actually know what it means, hearsay evidence is generally admissible in court and rightly so.
In case you are forgetting there is an official transcript and an audio recording of the conversation.
By the logic, arresting most criminals is a waste of tax money.

What I find fascinating is that while Trumps actions are factually worse than even Nixon, lets ignore that for the moment. The reason why sanity prevailed and Nixon resigned is because Republicans actually did what was right for the country and broke party ranks. Sadly now, politics have turned into sports teams and the people in charge have lost sight of the fact it is not a sporting event but the very fabric on US society that they are playing with.
Nut jobs like tang0 will always be around and conspiracy theories will always be discussed. But when straight facts are being denied we are in a very dangerous world that is probably on a path to an exceptionally dramatic event. I am beginning to believe that the US constitution is not good enough for the modern world, I also believe that the method of democracy employed by the UK also has its flaws exposed in the modern world.

You mean apart from the various diplomats, staff etc who have stated what they saw and heard, and the fact that even Trump has admitted that he held back the money and approval for the weapons sales as "one of those things" despite them being approved by congress (and suddenly the hold up disappearing when it became clear that someone had noticed and raised a red flag).

Yep, Joe Biden made a full confession to holding back money as VP (with the backing of Obama) until a prosecutor investigating his son for corruption got fired but apparently it's fine when the swamp does it. No media coverage, no outrage, no impeachment because we all love double standards.
You know it helps to actually do some checking on what you say before making yourself look kinda stupid.
Yes nothing will come of it, pretty much everyone knows that.
But Pelosi isn’t going to the senate with the impeachment because the Republicans are a special kind of stupid. They basically said they will acquit Trump etc. So knowing that the Dems have now decided to sit on the impeachment. And you know what that has done?? It’s taken the narrative away from the Republicans who continually defend Trump. It also means Trump can no longer say he is innocent as it hasn’t gone to the senate for them to say yeh you are innocent.
So Trump is going nuts not knowing, the Dems are sitting there rubbing their hands knowing full well that this is sending Trump nuts.
He can spin it any way he likes, he is not innocent of impeachment as it hasn’t been taken to the senate for them to decide.
Imagine how stupid can you be to actually say before the articles of impeachment come to the senate, that you refuse to be fair etc.
The other gold lining to this is that unlike Obama, who lives rent free in his head, Obama was never impeached. So at least Trump has that over him....
