That would play straight into Trump's hands, he'd love it. They need to remain calm and just keep asking the tough questions. They have done a far better job since this started, maybe having a small journalist pool in these briefings helps as there aren't other journalist for Trump to use as a deflect.

I don't know, it might highlight the inanity of his behaviour.

"You're a fake president"

"You're ratings are terrible"

"Our network is tremendous, the best. No-one's ever seen a network so good"

"I'm a really smart journalist, people say I'm one of the best that's ever lived"

Because she’s supposed to be a professional.

So is everyone working alongside him, but he can't be reasoned with as he's shown time and time again. He hates being corrected by anyone but women in particular really seem to tick him off.

The stupidity that came out of his mouth last night didn't even need correcting, her reaction said it all. Anyone who believes a word he said about having disinfectant pumped into their body will probably go on to vote for him again anyway.

It should be Dr Birx. Dr Brix was married to The Fall's Mark E Smith. :D Who could still provide better medical advive than Trump

I couldn't be part of that cluster fudge in good faith. It's unethical to not correct his drivel.

I totally empathise, I've quit jobs over matters of principle before.

However he will just remove anybody who upsets him, you could argue that we should respect her moral fortitude in being able to stomach working with the man in order to limit the damage he would otherwise do.

oh it would be hilarious to see a journalist go toe to toe with Trump. I’m sure there are plenty that would take him to the cleaners but they won’t do it.

They don't need to stoop to his level though, they can just ask legitimate questions and have him do all the work himself. They need to work together and hold his feet to the flames. It happens too often where he dodges a question and the next person asks some weak, completely unrelated softball.

Yes allegations against a billionaire running for President must be true, it's not like there would be any sort of incentive for these women to be told to come forward and say things, such as the other candidate winning and the women getting lots of money. Where were these women before he ran for President?

Your replies are utter nonsense to be honest. There's an actual video recording of him saying what he can do to women and how they just let him do it because he is who he is. This isn't him saying he asks them first. It's him saying he just does it without any concern for whether they're ok with it or not, which isn't ok. Their feelings don't matter to him. The entire conversation is based around him and his behavior and the way that he views women. But yeah, sure, all unsubstantiated and fake. It has to be. Oh, and the women asked for it. Yep, sure. Good one

Just imagine for one second a Muslim had said those exact things, except he used his faith as an excuse and not the 'faith of celebrity and richness'.

What's the point though? She would likely just get some childish, snarky comeback from him and then go on to lose her position...

Genuinely, if you were someone that cared about people you'd speak up and walk away from the position. How could you continue to work in an environment where your medical expertise is questioned by someone with such stupid ideas and solutions? She should be ashamed for not saying something at the time. It should have been a straight up "Absolutely do NOT inject yourself with disinfectant, you will die!"

Do you honestly think that he takes their advice though? So far the way it's been handled has been a lesson in ignorance. Even Dr Fauci has contradicted him plenty of times in the past.

I enjoy watching the Trump press conferences every evening, it's comedy gold.

However... utterly terrifying he's the leader of the free world (effectively).

How do our resident trump fanboys spin bleach-drinking into wise and rational leadership?

As usual the Deadmilkmen nailed it with suitable prescience in 1988
