By who? When? Context?
Is the President expected to not be under surveillance, if there is suspicion of wrongdoing is there something to say he should not be investigated by the authorities?
First off all how can the USA be leading the way in testing while there is a shortage of tests and a large amount of broken tests which do not work. Trump is blaming Obama for that. How can the USA be leading the way while complaining about broken and missing tests? Just how many tests a day do you think the US is doing? Last time I looked the tests per population was pretty much one of the worst. The opposite to leading the way.
2nd Trump is uncaring from what I have seen. Where has he shown real sympathy or real caring about this situation? Every briefing I have watched and I have not watched them all Trump was praising himself, often praising himself for longer then he spends giving out useful information on the virus or showing any signs of caring/sympathy.
3rd Trump is massively handling the outbreak badly. Other counties that got the first official Virus infection on the same date as the US are now at a 90% reduction in new cases, a death rate that has almost gone back to zero and in comparison, to the US have low job losses and low economy damage. That is how a good response works. On the other side of the spectrum in the spot where bad responses are, we have the US.
The US who have had the same amount of time but are now going to break past 100k deaths which is double the death of what was predicted had Trump handled the situation correctly. Now it looks like the future death rate is going to break past 200k more than triple deaths over what was expected. Along with massive job losses and massive economy damage all of which cause have been massively reduced if not for Trump terrible handling of the situation.
There was always going to be death, job loss and economy damage but why is it so hard for you understand that Trumps has made all 3 much worse than was needed. Trump is directly responsible for that. Just like Trump is directly responsible for the missing and broken tests and medial supplies that never got restocked.

I've no idea what the intelligence community get up to but even if he was, he certainly wouldn't be the first.
Posssibly (in some form - spying is a loose term), and likely for a good reason.
Good thing the FBI didnt publically announce that they were investigating him weeks before the election though isnt!. That might have really scuppered his chances....
Shh, Tang0 is only interested in per capita figures when it's deflecting from the US's deaths figures being the worst in the world, of course absolute numbers of testing should be used when trying to deflect from something else!
Of course he was spied on that's old news. Some people who where being monitored for expected crimes where as I understand it legally wire tapped. When Trump rang them up he was caught on the wiretap hence spied on even though it wasn't aimed at Trump. Its just that Trump has a lot of criminal and corrupt friends.
Well, whilst i don't think his China comment yesterday was necessarily directed to her for being of Asian descent, i can totally appreciate her feelings on the matter and why she asked him/confonted him.

Why are you asking this? If it's to open a reasoned discussion then let us know. Sadly I suspect we all expect it to be for some hocus pocus magic smoke & mirrors act again.
Spied makes it sound like a nefarious act when it wasn't, do i think Trump and his team were investigated for links to foreign governments and/or anything that endanger America and its citizens, damn right i do and rightly so to, anyone running for the highest office in the land, arguably in the world (although not so much of late), should be thoroughly investigated. You'd hope something like that was done long before they even come close to high office to be frank but as Trump had little or no political background the security services probably took little notice of him.
Pretty much why I put it there and last time I looked the the US had moved into the top 10 deaths per capita and was slowing working its way up.
