Trumps press conferences popular? Probably because people are tuning in to see what he can manage to know more about than anyone else. The mans nut house material, has to pretend to be clued in on everything and anything when it's obvious he has no ******* clue.

This is the problem (one of them anyway) with the guy. He's got the pick of all the best minds in America in every field of study available and all he has to do to not be seen as a total idiot is simply to defer to their judgement. People need to hear and be reassured by professionals, not some reality tv moron spouting on about things he has no clue about. Especially in a time of emergency.
Funny thing is he makes "Dubya" seem competent which seemed impossible a few years back. Trump just gets on a podium, verbally "pleasures" himself a few times, spouts some numbers he pulled out of his ass and that's about your lot About 3-4 weeks ago this virus was all a big hoax and no problem, now he's the all knowing expert in the field. 8 years of Dubya will seem like paradise compared to 4 years of this troglodyte. He's a 73 year old man baby with an inferiority complex that somehow duped millions of gullible ******** into voting for him.

A reasonable person would maybe explain why they like Trump's public appearances or criticise them when needed. These posters don't bother with reasoned discussion.
I've met a few European Trump supporters in real life. They're usually social outcasts that got caught in the dragnet of the US Breitbart-led social media campaigns and bought into the whole schtick of "the reason you're a social outcast is that feminazis/Mexicans/gays/SJWs are out to get you".
They're aren't here to discuss anything, they're just brainwashed into spamming whatever nonsense Breitbart and co tell them to. Rational thinking gets left at the door when you join the special Trump fan club.
We can only hope that some day they'll feel like a part of society and come to their senses instead of pushing everyone away with this bile they've been infected with.

It's the only rational explanation as its impossible for anyone to be that stupid. Trumps early bravado has all but disappeared as the reality of the situation kicks in, something any sane person knew at the very beginning.

His coronavirus briefings are something to behold, various CEO's lining up to thank him for his leadership.

Not if he seen to **** this out so momentously that it's clear he'll be voted out, I expect him to "cancel" the election in coming months due to the "State of Emergency" that he's negligence has helped cause.

Oh he'd do that in a second if it could help him but it can't. If there isn't an election he leaves office on January along with Pence and Pelosi becomes POTUS. It would need a change in the constitution to change that or a coup.
