Well I got the key and everything but the game crashes on my 2900XT as soon as I try to respawn. The game has problems with ATI cards. From the readme:

- There is an issue with ATI graphics cards where text will appear corrupted when switching between 4:3 and 5:4 aspect ratios. To fix, press ` to bring down the console, type "reloadLanguage" and hit enter.

- Anti-aliasing for soft particles in ATI cards is unavailable.

- A quick switch between fullscreen and windowed view might lead to the game crashing.

- There is a sporadic crash on ATI cards when starting to load a level.

I got exactly the same problem you need to disable AA in the game until they sort it.

To get accepted use IE

I tried in Firefox, no luck. Not powerful enough apparently.

Retried in IE and it said my rig was acceptable. Subbed for a month (£4) just to get this.

I was in the ET Beta (Bridge Only) this is very very welcome.

No problems running it on my rig, see spec in the sig.

Looks ok so far apart from the the lack of resolutions, highest seems to be 1024*768, unless i'm missing a setting. I want to run it at 1280*1024

A good number of UK servers with decent pings.

Change the aspect ratio to 5:4, that will let you select 1280.

I seem to be crashing everytime i load the game again, what i mean is that i can play a few maps when i boot up but if i quit then load up the game again as soon as i join a server it crashes and i have to reset my machine. :(

Yeah the beta is amazingly flaky to say the least, ive seriously not seen as many crashes\hangs\blue screens since windows 98, and thats on winxp and vista 64.

Yea and it actually reset my machine earlier when it crashed, I have never seen anything like it for years, got an error message earlier which said the kernel had crashed.

To be honest this by far the most unstable beta ive ever tested, i tested c&c generals, fear, bf2142 and starwars battlefront, all those games combined never crashed anywhere near as much as this.
