Dragon Age Inquisition

I agree DA1 was every way the better game, however I have played worse games than the second one.

As the poster above said the worry is that its an RPG in name only without the story depth youd expect from a good bioware game.

Time will tell but Ill definitely be buying it.

Not looking forward to this one, I've yet to see anything promising.

I wasn't even impressed by the first DA. It started out nicely, a few interesting dialogues/companions, a couple of unique enemies but it quickly devolved into a slug fest: meet a group of monsters, blow cooldowns, loot, continue, meet another group, repeat. There was not much differentiation between classes other than the boring DPS/tank/healer trinity which, along with the corridor type maps, reminded me of MMORPG dungeons.

It was definitely a step backwards for Bioware from my point of view and a taste of things to come - dumbed down abilities/classes, focus on "action", console design.

After ME3, DA:2 and TORtanic? I doubt it.

Don't get your hopes up.

I dont mind the extended me3 ending that much. Right up until the final choice/star child bit which I think is all in Shepards head and not actually what's going on. It cleared up the issues I had. Sure it could be better but I'm over my rage the first time I played it. Too many great moments over 3 games to let 10minutes at the end ruin it.

I'm also enjoying da2 more this time around. Again it's not amazing but I'm enjoying it enough. Made a point not to play dao just before it so maybe that's helping.

Never played tor. Have no interest in mmos.

Very impressive looking video, though I'll be very surprised if the game itself can live up to that. Some of those landscape shots looked the best I've seen yet.

Excellent trailer. It certainly does look epic.

Sadly I have been burned twice in a row by Bioware, so am still skeptical, but am definitely looking forward to playing it.
