Dragon Age Inquisition

Level 19 at the moment and some of the dragons still kicking my ass.

I've killed 4. Tried one earlier and every time you get it's health down a little it gets it's guard all the way up. Tbh, it would just be boring to slog through so I left it.

Btw, I have to say that the game post-campaign is very disappointing. Skyhold for some reason becomes really bugged, with people disappearing and stuff not loading. Also, none of your companions will talk to you and all of their quests disappear.

I feel the same, I like my character but I end up just controlling one of my mages or rogues during fights

My suggestion is just do it.

Now I'm not watching the cut scenes for the bits I've already done, I've powered my way through the story, what took me 15 hours before will probably take about 5-6 now.

Anyone else having issues connecting to the dragon age servers? I haven't been able to connect since launch. It just thinks that origin is offline for some reason. Driving me nuts!

EDIT: reinstalled origin and all is well.

Only played the prologue so far but I loved what I saw. Is it just as good after that?
I want to be able to focus on this game properly so im going to finish the other games I bought recently first like GTA and far cry ect before I get into this as I feel a game like this is always best when you make it your main game so you can really get into it and iv wanted a good rpg every since I finished the Witcher 2.

Yup, you'll be pleased to know that the rest of the game is just as good. There is plenty of content to get to grips with, that's for sure. Definitely a game to be savoured rather than rushed through. However, I think I'll be slowing down my game time with DA:I to await a patch for some of the PC related issues ( gender fix, UI, tactical cam etc ).

Skyhold is absolutely stunning, don't think I've ever seen such a beautiful looking place in a game before!

Plus the whole story sequence from Haven being attacked was incredible, quickly becoming one of my all time favourite games tbh - and I'm only 20% into the story someone said?!

I dumped my warrior after 5 or so hours and switched to a Dalish Archer, which seems to have improved the survivability of my party.

Current highlights from todays play though are Vivienne's cleavage and the Chav-tastic Sara.

'Dat UI though. :(

Are they working on the ui or are we stuck with this :/

With the release of Dragon Age: Inquisition, we've been hearing a number of concerns from members of our PC community, including:

Driver support
Hitching and frame rate issues in cutscenes
Feedback on keyboard and mouse controls
General user interface optimizations for PC

We've been following these issues closely and are looking into them.

Player experience is a top priority for us. Our goal is to address as many of these as possible in our upcoming patches, including some in our next patch, which is underway. We’ll release further details in the coming days and will continue to monitor your concerns.

Your feedback is important to us, and we appreciate your contribution to making Dragon Age: Inquisition a better overall experience.

UPDATE:

If you are having DirectX issues and you have an AMD Radeon graphics card, please update to the AMD Catalyst 14.11.2 beta driver.

We are aware of issues with certain NVidia graphic cards and we are working with NVIDIA for a solution.

No tactics
8 potions, with conveniently placed caches everywhere.
No healing mages.
Companions just do whatever they want no matter what you 'set'
Colourful explosions does not make it exciting.
Some enemies have far too much health/guard that just turns it in to a grind
Tactical camera is a joke.
Main one- timing based gameplay but animations get locked in and it really doesn't work.

console design crap.
tragic and shows no respect for pc players.
