The way I see it just now is that I normally upgrade my graphics card every Xmas when I have a bit of extra cash. This year due to the inflated(by whatever means)prices I am unable to do so. The irony is because of the price gouging I will not buy a new graphics card and that sale is lost to the industry. So it may be that many others, feeling the pinch also, because of the hike in prices will also not buy a new graphics card and therefore the industry may be doing themselves out of money in the long run.
.If they work off very small margin and hardly make any profit everyone would complain when they went bust about bad managment. The thing is people are paying these prices so they will stay high until more stock is around of the 58xx series.
