Dying Light - PC next gen zombie open world game?

I played about an hour and 1/2 so far and love it! Love the whole free running and zombie smashing; although hope I can wander a bit more and go outside the story. Just installed my 970 last nite and not having any issues with things set to max.

So you guys have verdict on it being actually decent? If so then I will probs ignore those elsewhere complaining of performance bugs and such :p

Well the graphics are amazing to me. Ya feels a little like a xbox port but whatever. Still quite fun. Love the whole freerunning.

Not good at these sort of things but if I can change peoples minds in buying the game that will be good. :D

Been playing the game 1 hour now and got to say its surprised me how good the game is, wasn't expecting much from the game to be perfectly honest. Yes there is performance issues in the game which can be irritating at times BUT nothing major, lets hope they get it fixed soon. :p

My graphics card is a zotac gtx 980 and playing on a Samsung 1440p monitor with max settings, and the graphics of the game are really stunning and crisp when not having any performance issues in the game. forgot to mention as well that there is some sound issue don't know if anybody else is having the issue ? seems to echo and crackle most of the time.

The zombies can sometimes be really hard to kill and takes a few knocks of the water pipe to even get them on the floor and smash there heads in. :D
The land scape of the game is really good too with plenty of things to climb and jump on.

But having only played 1 hour of dying light my opinion of the game might change but will keep everybody posted.

Think I might have to upgrade to a 980 soon then as I'm struggling with my 780. Unless it's this new driver.i will have to revert back to my old driver later and see how it goes

Alright this settled it for me, ordered @ £30 from GMG + 2% cashback. I have a 980 too but will be playing at 3440x1440 so will report back.

Downloading now. :)

Hopefully won't run into any problems. PC could probably do with a clean-out but simply cba.

Edit: And the steam reviews look really promising!

Decent game, had a good few hours on it with my mate.
Runs like **** mind, so just dialed the settings down to low and off i went :D

Mate has a 780 @1920 and reckons it's flawless, i've just got a 970 @1440 and it's not smooth as i would have liked (not stuttery, just not smooth), frames according to SP were in the 60s.
