The Enhanced edn is £18.05 on CDKeys using the Facetwat 5% discount code, includes

so might be better value for money compared to the base game just for a few quid more

Can be had cheaper for £14.99 here :)

Ooops. Says sold out now. Was in stock when I last checked though, so maybe keep an eye out for those interested.

Picked it a few days ago on steam sales to demo it, as you can play up to 2 hour's and get a refund if you do not like. This game much better than Dead Island which I did not enjoy at all. Got hooked and decided to keep it in the end :D

The story was not as bad as I heard, bit cheesy at times but did the job. The graphics and gameplay are really good though. I get around 50-60fps at 4K after turning of Depth of Field and Motion Blur. Very well optimised game!

Anyone hesitating to pick this up like I was, give it a go on steam. Nothing to lose, but a lot to gain. Gem of a game. Might even be my game of the year.

Tolga and Fatin = lol :D

Hope to see those two in the next game somehow. Dying Light 2 suddently has become one of my most anticipated games :)

Picked this up in the steam sale for £16, I can't understand why I haven't heard more about this game. It feels really polished and seems a cut above all other Zombie games of this ilk. Only played an hour or two, but can't fault it at all.

It gets quite a bit better. Fairly tough/frustrating in the beginning with weak weapons that break quickly cuz you're whacking zombies forever to kill them, and you have very few additional moves. Once you're a bit stronger and have unlocked some of the cooler skills, things really get fun.

Picked this up during the steam sale as well and got bitten immediately (Hah - Pun). Haven't played an open world game in a while and this blew me away - really enjoying myself. Runs like a dream too and look fantastic on my 21:9 Asus.

I set POV to 100 - haven't experimented with it since I got so engrossed in the game that I didn't think of tweaking any settings :)

I've only played around two hours so far, but I'm enjoying it a lot. It certainly gets quite tense when you're running out of time to complete a mission before dark! What an extremely well-optimized game to boot. :)

And the nice thing is, the first map, Slums, isn't even the best one. The second one (Old City) is beautiful and so much fun. And then there is the countryside in the expansion.

arc, it wasn't originally! When it first came out people were having frame rate, memory leaks and the game was using way way too much Vram. This was all patched :)

Ahh...I didn't know that, fair enough. :)

A benefit of not picking up games early on I guess (or in this case, a game I won). :D

I've tried this game a few times now but it's never clicked for me, I think I was missing something, my weapons seemed to break constantly and I didn't seem to ever be able to repair them efficiently that I grew annoyed of that mechanic

That is like the first quarter of the game, which I actually liked. As you level up and progress the story you get better weapons, like a pistol/rifle which you can one head-shot kill most zombies. Also towards the end you will be getting swords that one hit chop off heads, arms and torso's! :D

You also get a nice grapple-hook midway though the game which is awesome. Honestly, it is a very good game. Give it another go.

Quite true. Played it at release and it was awful to play, otherwise a great game overall with poor performance dogging it down. Got as far as Jade and the Museum and my mates and I gave up.

Purchased the Following edition sometime last November and have been playing it on and off heavily enough. My love for the game has been rekindled and I've finished everything in both Dying Light and Following campaigns. Just got Agility to max out and I'm done. Not bothering too much about grindy legend levels. I can one shot Volitiles with my golden shotgun but night times are still quite scary.

Both games are superb overall, with such a capable engine to boot. Can't wait for the second title. Easily one of the best Zombie games for the PC alongside State of Decay.

Just completed the Following dlc. While I really enjoyed both the main game and the dlc, I have to say I'm glad ive finally completed it. It got a little tedious near the end having to keep driving long distances between missions.

Agree. Having to check the map every few seconds whilst driving far distances gets tiring somewhat. By the end I was so glad it was over that I chose the easy route out :)

Takes a couple of hours to get into this game, first few hours are incredibly frustrating with weapons constantly breaking after a few hits and zombies taking about 6+ hits... But once you get good weapons, better stamina, agility + the grappling hook, it gets a lot more fun

Game is decent looking in some parts but... the banding in certain scenes is awful, I haven't seen a game as bad as this for a long time...

Even during the day, the blue sky has banding...

I love this game and so glad we're getting more content:

https://www.pcgamesn.com/dying-light/dying-light-dlc-free-2017-2018-e3

At an event during E3 2017, Techland have announced that Dying Light will be getting ten new pieces of free DLC in the next 12 months. Some will even include extra story content, and the first will be "available soon" adding new enemies to fight against.

To know what to expect, it’s probably worth taking a look at The Following, the Dying Light expansion that came out more than a year ago. In that, Techland shifted the focus from parkour to vehicular action, plonking a dune buggy down in its open-world. Running the undead over proved popular, so it’s likely the developers are looking to expand their roster of vehicles in upcoming DLC.

The Following also added a new cult-addled area to the game, so expect extra segments of map to come out of this plan. You’ll have more info when we do.
