Easyriders Cinema Room

Thanks visibleman :)

Update,

I have made the two frames for the corner bass traps (pics shortly) all I gotta do is to cut the fabric for the backing and cover the rockwool.

Decidied to go for wall to ceiling bass traps for the two screen corners.

Then I can make a start on the wall High frequency panels.

All the wood is cut to size it just needs fixing together.

Puzzled to why you went for the black instead of matching light oak to match the other speakers / decor.

Nice sub though, probably buying one of these myself in a few weeks.

Matches the Onkyo.:p

TBH I figured that Black would look better than a veneer that maybe didn't quite match the speakers or rack.

Glad I went for black. The lack of wood veneer and the finish just makes it look classy and refined. It fits fine into the current Kit no problems.

Finally finished my bass traps woot! :D

Also finshed 3 more panels today.

Here are some pics of the process.

First make the wooden frame and back it with the acoustic transparent material. (in this case I used Speaker material that I bought for 1.99 per metre)

Layer with insulation material on top of the backing leaving a 2 " gap behind

Cover with material and staple tight and smooth.

The Bass trap frames were a lot bigger as they are going from floor to ceiling in the each corner either side of the screen.
